Dennis Louvra debuts on MIDH, after a successful streak of music releases and appearances globally. “In My Mind” features the vocals of the emerging .fullhead and it's a sentimental piece of music, perfect for afternoons by the beach, after parties, or club nights. 

Marc Gonen, another debutant on the label, has been making waves with his top-quality productions, and it's time to host him with his “Wrong”, a club track that will get you hooked with the amazing sample flip. 

Scorpios residents Derun give us a tribal and groovy single guaranteed to keep the dance floor energized. 

Jazzuelle brings his unmistakable afro-tech sound with "Spectre."

Alan Dixon returns to his own label Love Attack with a summer afro-tech workout named ‘Infados’. On this release his is joined by mOat, an English duo, consisting of Tom Staar and Chris Spero (Glimpse half of Dense & Pika).

Following on from his single ‘Thandaza’ with Keinemusik and his remix of Moeaike ‘Bo Bom’, both of which were Pete Tong’s ‘Essential New Tune’, 2024 is shaping up to be a great year for Alan, 'Infados' promises to continue this upward trajectory!

For our next release, we welcome the enigmatic producer, 'The New Human', to the label with his stunning album, "Proximity Mantra".

"The New Human" isn't afraid to wear his influences on his sleeve. Proudly incorporating the late 90's/early 2000's IDM methodology into his own techniques to create a curious blend of ambient, glitch and twisted yet mellow electronica.

The eight tracks on show here provide us with a myriad of ever evolving and crunchy percussion. Beats that stretch, warp and turn. Each pattern waiting to uncoil and mangle into the next.

Then there's the dark and deep basslines that provide the ideal backdrop for these shuffling and effervescent soundscapes. But it's not all bass and complex beats. There's a whole host of technicolour and expressive melodies in the quieter moments that allow 'The New Human' to showcase his knack for exploratory synth work. Glacial harmonics intertwine with classic IDM bleeps that succeed in carrying the tracks into evocative territory.

The album is rounded out with two remixes. Inverness based producer, Beira, provides her own spiky and chaotic take on "Phoenix" before label boss, Fragile X, dissolves "Thought Patterns" into an ambient electronica journey to close out the release.

Andrey Sirotkin makes a remarkable debut on THISBE Recordings with the single “Untouchable”, a synth-infused slow techno track with an electric 80s feel, that should awaken every listener’s imagination from start to finish. The Kyiv-based producer, known for his fine analogically produced leftfield techno tracks released - among others - on Rune Records and Mystictrax and his own label Vyrii records, comes up once again with an original production which strikes the right emotional balance between melancholy and euphoria.

Initially produced as an instrumental tune, such an atmospheric track was begging for an extra melodic vocal ­input, and this is where Pyrame comes into play. Indeed, “Untouchable” features the Berlin-based lyricist and vocalist who conveys a warning message about humankind being reduced to a simple product in modern society, a lame unit in a world driven by statistics where everything is measured and quantified. The writing is on the wall: with “Untouchable”, Pyrame raises awareness about losing every aspect of our freedom, privacy and unbiased opinion. Scary, with the hope of getting sometime, somehow, out of it. We must.

In order to add some other perspectives to “Untouchable” when it comes to genres, the EP is completed by a deep techno remix by Joseph S Joyce, A Caribbean rework by A-Tweed & Oltrefuturo - which also got declined into a dub version - as well as an electro mix by Acid Washed.

The latest release on Oleeva sees a transatlantic collaboration come to fruition between Barcelona based Luis León and Unseener, from Seattle, USA. The two artists are building quite the repertoire together having released a number of projects on their own imprint Blankhaus as well as a beautiful ambient album on Satya earlier this year. Their Dubbelsyn EP leaves the calm waters of downtempo and heads into a faster, more club oriented space.
