Brooklyn’s toucan sounds drop the ‘Beginning’ EP from Drop Out Orchestra & Monsieur Van Pratt this April. Leading the release is floor filler ‘Glitter’, which gets the party started with brightly mixed horns, saxophone flair and deep bass licks, before moving into ‘Feel Great’, with New York R&B artist Shareef Keyes’ vocals sitting atop an effortlessly grooving and sparkling production. Pink Flamingo Rhythm Revue’s baritone sparks joy in ‘Get Busy’, sliding into higher registers in the chorus over a crystal clear funk backdrop. For the final track on the EP, ‘Organ Fett’ drops the vocals for earworm synth leads, organs, and guitar hooks, conjuring images of palm trees and orange sunsets.

The masterful Budakid is back on Exploited with a remix by Permanent Vacation boss, Benjamin Froehlich and Heist Recordings artist Nebraska. 
Two excellent remixes of ‘Ringo Bingo’ accompany the original. Benjamin Fröhlich turns in a seriously epic remix opting for a driving breakbeat vibe and soaring atmospherics which compliment the original parts beautifully. He builds a stunning sonic landscape that you can really get lost in. Nebraska delivers a housey version, all rolling percussion and dusty beats that cut against the sweet synths nicely. The insistent piano chords work brilliantly with this new rhythm, recalling classic piano house in the process.
