With its 10th edition, Dalmata Daniel’s split series brings together two artists who have both left their mark on the label’s compilations, now presenting their first full releases on the imprint. Anatolian Weapons and The Spy approach electronic music from different angles, one rooted in hypnotic techno rituals, the other in raw electro and post-punk energy. Both craft sounds that thrive in the shadows of the dancefloor. On the A-side, Anatolian Weapons delivers three cold, hypnotic cuts. "Trapped" opens with heavy EBM percussion and a buzzkill bassline, setting a tense, mechanical tone. "Further Spiralling Down" sinks deeper into darkness with a grinding low end, tight drums, and electro-tinged claps, forming the side’s relentless highlight. "Apathy Through Shock" closes with pounding, catatonic rhythms and a mournful, otherworldly melody, pushing the listener into disorienting depths. Flipping over, The Spy’s raw, electro-driven energy takes hold. "Same Blur" channels sharp electro beats with a punkish sneer and cosmic synth lines. "Falling", featuring The Spy’s own vocals, leans into melancholic new wave, pairing bouncy rhythms with bittersweet melodies. The closing "Pretending" drifts into the darkest corners, offering low-slung, haunted electro layered with distant, spectral harmonies.

The Pathetic

Captain Mustache is back with the third release on Mobilee from his Luz album, this time with Play Paul, the brother of Daft Punk's Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo collaborating on one of the tracks, “The Pathetic”.

French producer Captain Mustache bridges electro, techno and wave influences. He has put out music on Permanent Vacation and Bedrock, while his last outing on Kompakt 'Everything' marked his biggest tune to date with top-tier DJ support and more than 300K plays. His upcoming album Luz is a deep dive into a wide array of influences from the 80s and 90s and finds him exploring new styles that work at home, away from the club, as well as on the dance floor.

The Pathetic is at the heart of the album and is a sleek, futuristic electro-techno sound with sultry indie vocals. Bright arps flash across the face of the tune as the drums surge on and the moody bass adds great weight.

Dancing Like Muffins keeps the pressure on with bright synth lines jangling above the well swung groove and some lush claps. Sparkling arps explode to bring more light and lift up to what is a majestic cosmic odyssey. Add in some vocoder vocals that bring a melancholic edge and you have a transcendent dance floor gem. 

These are two more irresistible tastes of Captain Mustache and his superb new album Luz.

El productor argentino Cosmosolar regresa a Espacio CIELO con El Rarito, un lanzamiento que incluye dos originales y reworks de CYCLE y Calystarr—material pensado para la pista con pegada indie-dance y filo dark-disco. La fecha de salida es el 10 de septiembre de 2025.

Argentinian talent Cosmosolar makes a vibrant return to the Espacio Cielo imprint with his “El Rarito” EP, a two-original offering that masterfully walks the line between the shadowy allure of Dark Disco and the rhythmic pulse of Indie Dance. His work, a product of the Style Wars period, was a powerful act of claiming space and voice. This very principle of audacious creation forms the foundation for The Machine Soul's freshest parcel, coming soon on the mighty Swedish imprint When Disco Goes Wrong. The project translates that physical, urban bravado into a Scandinavian electronic framework, channelling the relentless drive of Hip-Hop's foundations into a potent blend of machine-driven rhythms. It is a continuation of that rebellious dialogue, now echoing through the heavy sound systems of Nordic warehouses rather than the rumbling tunnels of the NYC transit system.

On the title cut, “Two Whole Cars,” The Machine Soul fully delivers on this promise.
