About the release
"Drumline" immediately impresses with its chunky rhythmic groove. Toms and snares vie for attention as effects and drum fills crackle and fizz across the stereo spectrum. Beautifully textured pads enter the fray and a crystalline lead is filled with Vangelis overtones. Juxtaposed against the sophisticated rhythmic narrative, the atmospheric melodic phrasing adds gravitas and melancholic power to an aptly named track.

'Returning to Proton Music, Janko Dragovic has created a powerful narrative with his Desaturate production moniker. Reaching a notable highlight in January 2018 with his "Wanderer" EP, the Serbian artist now creates another moment of magic with "Spinal Slip". Joining forces with production partner, Goran Ferenc for the second original track on the EP, the duo's Dual Flux soubriquet provides another sonic highlight via "Ground Zero". Remixes comes from iconic Croatian and Belarusian artists Petar Dundov and Michael A.

Another familiar name to the Proton Music roster, Michael A has continued to play a central role with a half-century of credits that has witnessed an abundance of original releases that included the likes of "Symbol", "Aura Tears" and "Geometria" between 2017 and 2019. Beginning the "Fantasy" series in September 2020 with an array of original new music, "Vol. 3" is set to hit the shelves in early 2022. A clutch of remixes for the likes of Dousk, James Monro and Pole Folder adding to his portfolio, the Michael A remix of "Ground Zero" takes the driving techno character of the original and transforms it into a lilting progressive gem. Glistening with flowing new melodic phrases that shimmer across the left-right soundstage, elements from Dual Flux's original intelligently sit in the opulent surroundings of Michael's production work, while a strong beat and ticking percussion add club credentials.'

Bodaishin's Circle of Life label is to release a beautifully organic and escapist mix of melodic house sounds on a
various artists collection due on July 1st. It showcases the many artistic talents in the labels’ orbit, and makes
for a soul soothing listen from start to finish.
The first track by Thales Senses (AR) comes in two versions - the ambient and club friendly original mix. Both
are lush and melodic affairs that take you deep. The second track by Ale Russo (AR) is the most mysterious
song of the collection with wispy leads that entrance and entice. Savage & She from Canada then step up with
super rhythmic and tribal groove, original vocals and oriental melodies that make you feel part of a ritual dance
at sun down. Label head Bodaishin (AR) step up with super ethereal sounds on Laranshkasha which is a world
created by creatures of the night.
Hole Box from Mexico takes care of track five and it is a tune that brings happiness, joy and hope with plenty of
powerful positive vibes. Peruvian Vandelor keeps the spirits high with Ubuntu and a new Early Morning
Version. It is beautiful and has sweet vocals that are harmony for the soul. Then come Arteforma and Marian
(AR) with Flowers On Monday on remix, who have their own majestic and dreamy house sounds and plenty of
rich melodies.

Vandelor - Ubuntu (Early Morning Mix) [Circle Of Life]

Presenting their first ever collaborative project, Ezequiel Arias and Sebastian Sellares land on Cid Inc's Replug Records with ‘Sky Above'. Label artist and progressive music star Ezequiel Arias has found a comfortable home on the Finnish imprint. After making his Replug debut in 2017 with a contribution to the label's popular ‘Defined' collection, the Cordoba resident went on to record joint EP's with fellow countrymen Artfaq, which subsequently found a place on the label across 2019 and 2020. Anjunadeep, Sudbeat Music and The Soundgarden have also served as vehicles for Ezequiel's obsessive rhythms and hyperspace melodies, while Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren have remained as steadfast supporters along the way. Meanwhile, fellow Cordoba resident Sebastian Sellares makes his label debut which follows on from a litany of successes. UK behemoth Anjunadeep, Antrim's Or Two Strangers, GMJ & Matter's meanwhile and US powerhouse Proton Music have all served as landing spots for the Argentine's mesmerizing productions. As friends and contemporaries for some time, Ezequiel and Sebastian now combine their extensive forces for Replug, as the beloved duo present a much anticipated three-track showcase entitled ‘Sky Above'. 

Comprised of three distinctive and equally compelling creations, it is the charming melodies of the title selection which get the release underway. Pitched somewhere comfortably between dreamy reverie and symphonic bliss, its warm machine gun style groove and flickering percussive arrangements marry perfectly with percolating effects and panoramic arps. Coming to full fruition during the second act, the duo's musical prowess is on full display, as a delicate lead rises, conjuring up bucolic imagery, while remaining undeniably infectious against a backdrop of glowing pads and balmy textures, onwards to a spirited finale.

Continuing the emotive lean of the release, selection two 'Delta Room' is replete with evolving, emotional and hypnotizing structures. Anchored by shuddering bass tones, whimsical chord stabs and contemplative phrasing, it moves forward with a lifelike pulse. The duo allows the listener to relish in the groove, building anticipation towards an apex of emerging riffs and colourful synth swagger, before collapsing under its own gravity and breaking into a utopian-style ecstasy. 

The elusive 'Imaginear' rounds out the release and further solidifies the duo's transcendent abilities. Ezequiel and Sebastian expound their lavish future vision, chasing their relentless curiosity for rhythmic and harmonic experimentation, as fuzzed out notes ring out into timeless suspension, across a bed of mountainous key changing grooves and misty textural refrains. Equally at home above a celebratory skyline or sitting in the emotional sweet spot of an end of the night scenario, its deeper design and thought-provoking atmospherics provide a much-needed dance floor curveball for the more adventurous selectors out there. 

With the ‘Sky Above' collection Ezequiel and Sebastian have crafted a sound-story which only grows more rewarding with every stop along the way - one in which two minds travel together deeper into their own musical journeys, and the resulting alchemical power transmutes its energies into progressive music gold.

We waited a long time for this one, we're excited to present our next release 'Amir Telem - Keshava EP' Including remixes from Death on the Balcony, Tebra, Kaöb and Don Son. Camel Riders welcome Amir Telem, one of Israel's most promising talents. Amir's production ability is impressive and doesn't stick to just one genre. His music blends Melodic Techno and Organic House music with lots of deep and obscure melodies. In addition, Amir is a yoga and meditation instructor who regularly implement spiritual messages from the Vedas (the ancient wisdom of yoga) in his tracks. The 2nd remix comes from Death on the Balcony (aka DOTB) who released their music on All Day I Dream, Anjunadeep and other major labels. The British duo presents a deep, emotional and groovy version of the theme track.
