VA - Robot Connection #002 EP [Electro Music Coalition // EMC V019]

На 19-м виниловом релизе от ELECTRO MUSIC COALITION в виде второй части интернационального блокбастера Robot Connection пересеклись: Дмитрий Ларионов, участник команды вышеупомянутого значка; Сергей Тимошов, известный на международной сцене по управлению рекорд-лейблом  Propaganda Moscow; римский продюсер и совладелец MinimalRome Джанлуки Бертази ака TeslaSoniс и более чем узнаваемый DJ и продюсер Нового Света Ole Mic Odd.

 12-дюймовка наполнена траками чистого электро без примесей и начинается с композиции Planet X, пропитанной глубоким грувом, узнаваемыми для композитора тембрами винтажных синтов и не менее узнаваемыми низходящими секвенционными перемещениями. Далее следует дорожка Let’s Go To The EMC, которая увеличивает динамику пластинки. Стаккато исполнение лид-партии и четкие брэйк-кики создают общую гнетущую атмосферу, образуя смачный кач. Варьирование основной темы к концу трака добавляет колорита в и без того 100% танцпольный киллер.

На обратной стороне этого четырехтрекера нас ожидает произведение Interlinked, продолжающее тяготящий тон за счет диссонирующих интервалов и акцентированных синтезаторных риффов, сохраняя при этом увесистый грув. Завершает компиляцию ньюскульная фанковая композиция классических структур ELECTRO с говорящим названием My Funk, где активизирует звучание синкопированный лид на упругий и четкий ритм, интенсивная фильтрация войса и выраженные текстуры побочных партий поверх общей пульсации. 

Подводя итог можно сказать, что Robot Connection вновь собирает продюсеров с разных частей света, формируя на пластинке мировую ELECTRO нацию. Сам же сборник выдержан в ровном и последовательном ключе, где каждый трак определенно сохраняет традиционные формы вышеуказанного жанра в мире гибридизации стилей и звука.

Marking catalogue number HCR025, the Valencia-based imprint doubles down on its underground ethos, curating a ten-track lineup from artists deeply connected to the collective’s orbit. Each contributor brings a distinct flavor of robotic sound design.

Every track has been handpicked for its club impact, conceptual depth, and ability to resonate with the aesthetic of We Are The Robots — a party series that’s been pushing uncompromising electro since 2010. Expect a full-spectrum journey: from cerebral synth workouts to gritty analog pressure, industrial atmospheres, shadowy breaks, and raw minimalism.

TL PREMIERE : Spectrums Data Forces - Future Is Here [HC Records]

On the 19th vinyl release from ELECTRO MUSIC COALITION, the second chapter of the international blockbuster Robot Connection brings together four heavyweights: Dmitry Larionov, a core member of the EMC crew; Sergey Timoshov, known worldwide for running the Propaganda Moscow label; Rome-based producer and MinimalRome co-founder Gianluca Bertazzi, a.k.a. TeslaSonic; and the unmistakable DJ and New-World producer Ole Mic Odd.

This 12-inch is pure electro from start to finish. It opens with “Planet X,” steeped in deep groove, vintage-synth timbres, and those distinctive downward-spiraling sequences. Next comes “Let’s Go To The EMC,” which kicks the energy up a notch. Staccato lead lines and punchy break-kicks create a tense, muscular drive, while subtle variations toward the track’s end add extra color, turning it into a dance-floor weapon.

Flip the record and “Interlinked” keeps the pressure high with dissonant intervals and sharply accented synth riffs, all riding a heavy, unshakable groove. “My Funk” closes the four-tracker with a new-school jam built on classic ELECTRO architecture: a syncopated lead riding a tight, springy rhythm, vocal filters in motion, and textured side parts pulsing through the mix.

Once again, Robot Connection unites producers from across the globe, sketching a truly worldwide ELECTRO nation. The compilation remains coherent and deliberate, each track staying true to the genre’s classic forms — even in an era of constant hybridization of sound and style.

Fear is the first stage of the Ratflak cycle.
The encounter with this sound begins in a register of unease. Psychoacoustically, the untrained ear is exposed to auditory conditions that bypass rational interpretation and act directly on the body. Heartbeat accelerates, muscles tense, and the impulse to withdraw arises. It mirrors the startle reflex described in psychophysiology, yet here the trigger is not physical danger but acoustic confrontation: sound that rejects harmony and order.

In this context, music is stripped of its aesthetic frame and processed as alarm. Ratflak’s architecture emphasizes this: percussive strikes echo the language of sirens, noise overwhelms the perceptual field and induces disorientation, synthetic timbres sound alien, beyond the natural. The listener, deprived of reference points, enters cognitive overload in which perception narrows to a single axis — the recognition of threat.

Fear, in Ratflak’s philosophy, is not an error but the beginning of transformation. It is the first red flag: sound that refuses to please, but warns. Through fear, the ground is prepared for the stages that will follow — anger, denial, and ultimately, acceptance.
