 29  From me the wicked way of lies
        let far removed be;
     And graciously thy holy law
        do thou grant unto me.

 30  I chosen have the perfect way
        of truth and verity:
     Thy judgments that most righteous are
        before me laid have I.

 31  I to thy testimonies cleave;
        shame do not on me cast.
32   I'll run thy precepts' way, when thou
        my heart enlarged hast.

      Give praises lying in the grave?

UNLESS the LORD will build the house,
		the builders toil in vain;
		unless the LORD the city keeps,

	2	Your rising early is in vain;
		late hours you vainly keep
		to eat the bread that’s gained by toil.
		He gives his loved ones sleep.

	3	Now, sons are from the LORD a gift,
		the womb’s fruit his reward.
		The sons of youth as arrows are
		for strong men’s hands prepared.

	4	O happy is the man who has
		his quiver filled with those;
		they in the gate will not be shamed
		when speaking with their foes.

         and his leaf fadeth never:

         The wicked are not so;
      But like they are unto the chaff,
         which wind drives to and fro.

   5  In judgment therefore shall not stand
         such as ungodly are; 
      Nor in th' assembly of the just
         shall wicked men appear.

   6  For why? the way of godly men

      Whereas the way of wicked men
         shall quite be overthrown.

   2     He makes me down to lie
      In pastures green: he leadeth me
         the quiet waters by.

         and me to walk doth make
      Within the paths of righteousness,
         ev'n for his own name's sake.

   4  Yea, though I walk in death's dark vale,
         yet will I fear none ill:
      For thou art with me; and thy rod
         and staff me comfort still.

   5  My table thou hast furnished
         in presence of my foes;
      My head thou dost with oil anoint,
         and my cup overflows.

   6  Goodness and mercy all my life
         shall surely follow me:
      And in God's house for evermore
         my dwelling-place shall be.
