1   		LISTEN to my words, O LORD,
    and my sighs before you lay.
2	Hear my cry, my king, my God;
    help me, for to you I pray.
 
2   	3	With the morning light, O LORD,
    you will hear my voice, my plea.
In the morning I will pray,
    and I'll wait expectantly.
 
3   	4	Truly you are not a God
    who in evil takes delight.
Evil will not dwell with you,
5	    nor the proud stand in your sight.
 
4   		You hate all who evil do.
6	    You will liars all destroy;
for the LORD abhors all who
    bloodshed and deceit employ;
 
mf     	5   	7	But in your abundant grace,
    to your house I will draw near;
looking to your holy place,
    there I'll worship in your fear.
 
m     	6   	8	Since, O LORD, my enemies
    for my soul do lie in wait,
lead me in your righteousness;
    make your way before me straight.
 
7   	9	On their words you can't rely;
    in their heart destruction's found.
Like an open grave's their throat;
    with deceit their words abound.
 
p     	8   	10	Hold them guilty, O my God;
    them for all their sins expel.
In their own schemes let them fall,
    for against you they rebel.
 
mf     	9   	11	Those who refuge take in you,
    let them ever shout for joy.
Shelter those who thus are glad.
    Those who love your name rejoice;
 
10   	12	And a blessing rich, O LORD,
    on the righteous man you'll pour.
With your favour, as a shield,
    you'll surround him evermore.
