1  SHOUT to God with joy all nations.
2  Sing the splendour of his name;
    make his praise resound with glory.
3 `Awesome are your works', proclaim.
 
   There in him let us be joyful;
7 he rules ever by his might,
   over all the nations watching;
   let not rebels rise to fight.
 
8 Bless our God, O all you peoples;
   let his praises loudly sound.
9 He has kept our souls still living,
   placed our feet on solid ground;
 
16  Come and listen, all God-fearers;
      I'll tell what he did for me.
17  With my mouth to him I cried, and
      with my tongue extolled was he.
 
18  Had I in my heart regarded
      sin, the Lord would not me hear;
19  God most certainly has heard me,
      and has listened to my prayer.
 
20 Blessed be God because he has not
     turned away from him my plea,
     and his cov'nant loving-kindness
     he has not withheld from me.
