Sturdy Kitz is a Hard Dance Dj and Producer from North Wales. He has had  tracks reviewed in mixmag and had airplay on BBC Radio 1 and had a few of them tracks get to number 1 in the download charts. His tracks have been getting support from Anne Savage, Karl Davis, Jordan Suckley, Lisa Lashes, Ed Real, Paul Glazby, Andy Farley, The Tidy Djs, Jp &amp; Juksey, Lucy Fur, Defective Audio and many more

2009/ 2010 has been a good year for Sturdy Kitz with bookings from the mighty Atomik Weekender, Energy Island, Isle Life, Kiddstock, Hardcore Till I Die, Clinic, Sleepwalk, Zion and Gravity.

Also with funky projects Evo D & Maxwell are showing there versatility in music production and the type of music they can play behind the decks whether it be a warm up set or full on hard as nails set. 

2008 is already proving to be a good year with having already played as northern coalition, audio fury, clinic, wobble, mental with mark eg, frequency and their own event Nuwave, and having bookings coming up from Tidy and Goodgreef these two are obviously making waves. On the production side Evo D & Maxwell have been working hard to build a name for themselves with more tracks out on labels like Nosebleed Records, Testlab Records, Scum Records, Flashpoint and Nuwave and also there Vs series with producers Defective Audio, Ben Townsend, Rodi Style, Riggsy and Iain Sanderson and more to come there is no stopping them now. This brings us to their new alias for funky projects called Sturdy Kitz which will kick off in 2009. 

2009 has seen Evo D & Maxwell have bookings for the mighty Atomik Weekender, Kiddstock, Hardcore Till I Die, Clinic, Sleepwalk, Zion and Gravity so far. They also have been asked back for the second Atomik Weekender and have been booked to play Clinic & Atomik on the white island (IBIZA) amongst other gigs. 
Their new alias for their funky projects is well underway with tracks signed to Combat Records and there new sister label NuFunk Records. Their Sturdy Kitz alias has already been supported by Radio 1, Tidy Djs and Ed real amongst others.

Shaun Mauren was born in Porto 1983, has always been involved with music from early years as his to his brother was in a band, then started to play guitar very young.
His passion for Techno started in the middle 90"s when he started to attend to rave parties at the legendary Rock's club.
 Dj Ze Mig L, A Paul. Xl Garcia Jiggy, Morrice, Oswaldo, Derrick May, Jeff Mills, Dave Clarke, Green Velvet, Speedy J, Carl Cox, Ben Sims... 
were very much a influence to his work today.
His first release on Rapid Fire Records, “Nature Of Life” a beatport exclusive,release supported by Top Dj’s, such as Laurent Garnier, Dylan Drazen, Dave the Drummer and many more. 
Ankara EP (Elektrax recordings) released in 2009 his first EP released, had tremendous support, climbing the charts to #1 on Juno Downloads, and #2 onTrackitdown.net .

Hello! I'm Simon, and welcome to my SoundCloud page.

About 14 years ago, I stepped back from DJing and producing to explore new directions outside of music. Life took me on some interesting journeys, but earlier this year (2025), curiosity got the better of me – I picked up a DDJ-1000 just to see if I could still beat match. Turns out, I can!

During my earlier DJ career, I experienced a degree of success, playing gigs across the UK as well as in iconic locations like Ibiza, South Africa (Johannesburg and Durban), and Australia (Sydney, Brisbane, and Perth). I released around 30 tracks as Simon Qudos and 6 under the tech trance alias Simon Williams. Unfortunately, some of these tracks have since disappeared from online platforms, but I’m working on making them available again – bear with me as there’s a lot to catch up on and update!

One thing led to another, and before I knew it, I was pushing buttons in Ableton again, experimenting with sounds and mixes. Is it a comeback? Maybe... I'm just enjoying the music for now and seeing where it takes me.

I am Simon Qudos, a retired DJ & producer of hard dance music. I was active between 2006 and 2011 at which point I decided to make a break from the dark surrounds of studio's and clubs and headed towards the light - day light! I wanted to make more out of sunny days (even though I live in the UK and we don't see too many of them) and generally just be more active and healthy.

The six years that I spent in the scene have provided me with many awesome memories... and although retired now, I wouldn't rule out a return one day - well never say never and all that!

Nick started of his music career as a DJ back in 2001.. Successfully playing sets at some of his favorite clubs in the country. His DJ sets are mainly focused on Hard Dance but has been known to play Tech Trance. Up there with the best of them in mixing skills Nick decided to branch out in his love for music and began to learn to produce and decided to start a vinyl record label. The label Operation 9 started in 2006 with it's first release by ''Digital Kid & Danny B'' titled: ''Punisher'' backed with a remix from Rodi Style. The label was to go on to have 5 other releases by several well respected producers in Hard Dance, Jon BW, J. Nardi, J. Dwyer, Narc, Kam-Pain, Iridium, Nick Irwin (Aftermath), Sam Townend, Jeff & Russ Sealey, Flymo & a remix by himself which was engineered by Digital Kid. After 3 years Nick decided to call it a day with OP9 & concentrate on his own productions which he'd been learning during the time of the label was running. Back in 2005 he started of where most people do, on a low budget and less complicated sequencer (Fruity Loops in his case). After several collaborations & releases with Jon BW decided to move onto Cubase SX 3 and now with Cubase 4. His first solo effort to be released on vinyl was a track called ''In Power'' which was produced in Fruity and a competition winner for Noir Records first release. His other vinyl releases include his remix of J.Nardi & J.Dwyer - Deeper & Narc's ''On Ya Marks'' under Nick, Beatnerfs & Jon BW's Hard House production name of ''JNS'. Both these remix's being released on OP9. Following that another collaboration with his good friends again Jon BW & Beatnerf. The track entitled ''Drug War''. This was to be released on the mighty Toolbox which is one of Nick's favorite labels so was big achievement for him and just made him hungry for more. Following on from that release his latest offering, another collaboration with Jon BW & Beatnerf under there new groovy Hard Dance production name: ''Don't Call Us Susan'' was released on the new CD label owned by Beatnerf. The label brilliantly titled Hard Tuna Audio (named after Nick & Stee's Hard Dance night Hard Tuna in there local night club Fusion) was the first release for the label and they’ll be many more to come and expect more collaborations with the three of them in the future. Following on from all this hard work and quest for the top, Nick has recently been signed to the Killertrax artist management alongside some of the best underground DJ & production talent around.
