For a few years now Torn Apart By Lisa have delivered gutsy, no frills alt rock to audiences around the North East of England. Their energetic vibe produces songs that are fun to some, relatable to many and catchy to most.

TABL was started by James Berry as a solo project, but that project soon evolved into a band with Karlos Morgan on Bass and Vince Haugh (sometimes Dan Cooper) on drums  

Their true passion in music came from the early 2000's from watching shows like Kerrang & Skuzz as teens. This has heavily influenced their style as a result, so if  you enjoy listening to bands like Blink 182, Bowling For Soup, Alkaline Trio, Offspring etc then you will probably like TABLs music too.

James has been writing music for decades. He has spent the majority of that time learning his craft on stage, performing various bars and pubs entertaining the masses. For the past 10 years or so James has been waiting for the perfect catalyst that would showcase the songs in a way they're meant to be heard. Thanks to the individuality of each member, Torn Apart by Lisa is that catalyst, those songs that have been slowly bubbling under the surface are now ready to explode onto the scene and be shown to the world!
