The sixth installment. Imagine like there is someone (probably me lol), who roams around for more than three years now, listening to you, yeah, you! Maybe a few hundreds? I really dont track every movement, just going with the flow and trying to arc back to my closer ones as often as possible. 

A good friend (soundcloud) once said, that it becomes quite a intense thing in keeping track somehow, maybe even work with a master excel-list or something like that, before you go all crazy. Really coming to a point where this might be the right solution, a necessarily move to be still able to come back to most of you frequently. Haha. Yeah, gotta organize, somehow.

Nonetheless. For a moment think about not only yourself as an artist, but also of all the other ones, and i mean those who are supportive, cheerful, friendly and dont just abuse this community, there are quite some out there. If you got the time, you can probably recognize those. Not a nice thing to do, this is a give and take community and i feel more like being on the "giving" side. 

Well, before this gets too long - thanks for all your wonderful music and creations and sonic blessings which i am allowed to experience here. The real music , for me, is here on SC!

This is the first release from The Just Imagines, the new band from previously solo artists, Ciroyelle and Tyler Cressman. Just over a year ago, they met, they collabed, and they fell in love. Mike: Dave sent me this 3/3 chord progression that he came up with on acoustic guitar. I had it in my playlist for about a year. One day while sitting in my car waiting for my daughter to come out of Lacrosse practice it came on and I started singing "Calling but I'm getting nothing from you". I went home and played it on the piano. Had to add the D G C part at the end of the chorus to fit the vocal melody. And if you want to really get musician nerdy I had to go to the F# a measure early for "I've been alone for so long" for it to land on "long". I didn't want it to stay slow throughout the entire song so I added the 4/4 part after the first chorus "wasn't thunder was a bomb...." and that brought me back to the verse but more up tempo and still 4/4. I had to cut that off to get back to 3/3 chorus so I created "screaming but nobody's home" which allowed me to stop making it easy to pick up with the 3/3 chorus

This is about as close to a "dittie" as you get in the synth VST world. I loaded up 5 different VSTs, four from Logic Pro X and 1 from Kontakt, mapped them into 5 different and sometimes overlapping parts of the keyboard and played it all in one go. In other words this is a one man band piece that can be performed live - there are no overlays just a single play. It was kind of fun doing this and I felt like one of those street musicians playing on a pedestrian street in front of an old-fashioned department store while playing. Maybe some of you will enjoy.

My AcoustaTronic abbreviated take on another Dylan Classic Tune. I only included Verses 1-5, because like so many Dylan songs, the Original was quite lengthy. Featured on Dylan's masterful 'Blood On The Tracks' Album - 1975. Written during a creative period of his separation and divorce from first wife, Sara. The title may have been taken from a lyric in Creedence Clearwater Revival’s seminal 1970 hit, “Who’ll Stop The Rain.”

I've remixed to my taste their original studio stems (drums & keyboards), adding my own vocals, guitars & more... hard recommendation of headphones again !!

Lyrics are from another of my ancient poems, where I played with oxytone & eproparoxytone rhymes (translated below but with lost effect in English).

I am a great admirer of Jonathan's work and when he approached me with this wonderful piece of music asking if I might have a go at lyrics and a vocal I felt really privileged. I wanted to try to do as good a job as I could, but initially I struggled, and then, feeling extremely despondent I took a break from it. On my second attempt I think I started to listen properly to what the music was saying – rather than imposing too much of myself on it – and I  began to get melodies and word patterns that seemed like they were there under the surface already.

This has been an amazing project to work on, and Jonathan has been hugely supportive throughout. I've done my bit for sure, but it would have been nothing without the music.
