Starting off 2025, the new year, with a bit of uncertainty.
A life- choices theme? An Economic cautionary tale?
I prefer the political application of the Latin "Buyer Beware". The application came, in the US in November, turning back progress. In Canada, Trudeau has just announced his resignation. Buyer Beware, or to use Joni Mitchell's words, "You don't know what you've got til it's gone, they paved paradise (progress) and put up a parking lot (or oil pipelines, or coal mines, or trying to threaten neighbours and make enemies of friends). But the people knew what they were doing when they created this mess...or were they victims of social media, filters, throttles, algorithms, and moneyed influence peddling?

A dark musical synth-based veneer, casts a brooding affect over the listener, though, if the message is heard, embraced, and a direction changed, a hint of optimism may yet prevail.

Here is my one take vocal approach to a letter I got from Nate J.
That doesn't mean there aren't stacked vocals. It just means that everything I attempted I would keep and not look back.
This is the head down approach and you just work through the track eight bars at a time until you hit that magic ending.
