@kenneth-scott's live PA at the last Gravity event powered by @sola-asylum-records and @belisabooking was simply astounding.  We hope you enjoy his unique and elaborate sonic immersion as much as we did.  If you do not know this artist already, please check his latest releases on Vakant, Another, Legwork, and his own Bad Animal imprint. 
 Kenneth spent his formative years surrounded by hippies in a small town in rural Iowa, and somewhere amongst their penchant for Transcendental Meditation, they introduced a young Mr. Scott to rave music. Soon after, between dabbling in Hip-Hop production, tinkering with cheap hardware, and full immersion in mid-90s House, Drum N Bass and IDM, Scott found himself on a one-way train to the distant shores of San Francisco, where his bastardized melange of electronic dance music was welcomed with wide-open arms.
After several years building notoriety as a promoter, collaborative performer, and consummate after-party DJ extraordinaire, Scott shifted his attention more seriously to solo production, which is garnering him increasing accolades in his current home of Berlin. Kenneth Scott is a busy man still on a one-way train, with no brakes.

NYE2019 five day/night Northern California campout 12/27/19-1/1/20
4am start to close the week of music. 

Event Horizon has to be moved from its planned So Cal location due to snow the day before the event to a location in Nor Cal at a brand new emergency location scouted before the day of the event.  On day 2 an unforecast rainstorm tore through the campout and dropped nearly 2'' of rain on the unprotected location.  The whole site turned into a mud pit and no one could leave or enter the site until it passed. 

Almost everyone in attendance stuck it out and after bucketing water out of the sub woofers we sound turned back on the following night as we all tried to dry out and get the energy back up.  On New Years Eve the site flooded with people ready to party and we threw down in a big way.  Most the night consisted of break beat and jungle peaking with hardcore just before this set starts.   

After such a long an challenging week it only felt right to dig through a lot of my favorite tunes new as well as old and explore a wide range of styles that make up much of the sound of Thought Society.

What does one even say about Limacon's absurdly special studio sets? This mammoth achievement in audio sorcery contains over 170 tracks and accapellas surgically arranged into a seamless and ever morphing journey. Ranging drastically in styles, sounds, and BPMs this effort took over 2 years to hone to perfection. 10 listens in and you are still finding new nuggets. Its our honor to be the home of Limacon's treasures and it's no different in this work of art, made exclusively for the FWD.DJ listeners. Enjoy!
