We've been going through this lock-down it has not been easy, infact if look back upon my life it's always been a difficult grind. I've lost a lot and so have many others, this is why I made this, to remind me and everyone listening that we can be Anti-Fragile. We can remain strong in the face of adversity.

We can rise to our challenges, double down on what we are good at and continue to push forward and, stick it to the people and life. The one thing we have is our spirits let that never be broken, let us rise from the ashes and continue and give opening and kindly to those who need it.

Let us keep working until we make it knowing full well what we are capable of.

Biography
The passion and dedication to the genre Psytrance began in 2003. Firstly on the dance floor, then as DJ Trip and now, coming into his own, as a Psytrance music producer. Based in the concrete jungle of Johannesburg, South Africa he made his mark as a DJ and promoter of artists under the production company label, Psychotic Productions. Frozen Ghost and Hiyarant oF MMD Records were booked for his Psychotic Productions party in 2008, They were booked as individual artists and together as Dirty Motion, prior to their tour to Japan, Subsequently he was invited to Cape Town to complete an intense course in Cubase SX 3, under the tutelage of Frozen Ghost and Hiyarant of Disaster Piece Records late in 2008. He has since forged his own unique sound, influenced heavily by the style of Archive and Zion Liguist of MMD Records to name but a few, who have had an influence on his unique sound of night time psytrance..

Following a long association with Lyle, AKA Archive, the mind manipulator, of MMD records, he has released a track on their long awaited Digital Breed Volume 5 VA.

Synthetic Alkaloid's passion and dedication to psytrance continues unabated,, watch this space.......

Cosmic Sidekick is the Psy-trance project of Frans Brooks, hailing from Pretoria, South Africa. Shortly after his first encounter with Psy-trance, late in 2016, he started showing interest in creating music himself. 
Since then, his been releasing tracks with Mr Speaker from Switzerland and pushing the more progressive side of Psytrance they have written together:
Feel the Noise (2019-12-20) 
Ethereal and Galactic Overture that is due (2020-03-31) under "102db" and to date he has played at Stomp Nation, Odyssey Tribe and Liquid Hive parties in Pretoria and Hanoi Vietnam, respectively.
Playing his own productions at festivals you can expect something new, raw and interesting at his performances.
His stylistic interests vary from slick Progressive Psy-trance with rolling bass lines to a more psychedelic, day-time Full On style.

He draws inspiration from mighty artists such as Genetrick, One Function, Yestermorrow, Faders, Outsiders, Imagine Mars, and Shivatree to name but a few. However, he is always looking for new music from the realms of the unknown to deliver a refreshing experience. As such, you can expect top notch track selection coupled with the vision to build an experience throughout the progression of a set. His seamless integration of the music delivers a non-stop dance experience, which will undoubtedly make you dance the music into the ground.

@battlefloor is the forest psy-trance project of Vincent Nemeti. A 27 year old music producer and DJ from Johannesburg, South Africa. Battlefloor is known for a harder forest style psychedelic trance sound, with emphasis on future, glitchy sound based on formant and FM synthesis. There is also often a hint of musical tonality in what he plays to give the audience something to relate to.

He got his start as a DJ in 2013, by playing the pre-party at Illum!nation where he played a Dark Progressive/Zenon style, he was hooked on that style until he developed a taste for forest style psychedelic trance in 2016. He has also played at major Gauteng based outdoor festivals such as Earthdance JHB, 2 Tswaing Crater Gatherings, Positive Vibrations and Wizards of Trance.

He is also a regular feature in a range of Johannesburg based indoor psy-trance events. He is current working towards an EP for 2019, and has already produced 2 tracks so far. Battlefloor has also played alongside world renowned psy-trance DJs and producers such as Ace Ventura, D-Addiction, Virtual Light to name but a few. He has also played alongside local heavyweights such as Killer B, Sonic Druid, Kaziel, Bionic, Manifesto, Nic Best (Savage Koala), Mr Sub and Swag Monster.

He has been producing music since 2003, and together with his techno act Vinsanity, he has made 2 albums and various EPs which have been released both locally and internationally. He has also thrown events and was one of the founding members behind Mandala Madness a series of JHB based indoor psy-trance which is now sadly defunct. He has launched a new brand by the name of Massive which is already on it's second installment.

The Psychedelic Trance project of Hanré Kotzé currently residing in Cape Town, South
Africa.
Growing up in a music school Solus tried his hand at various instruments and got
hooked playing metal guitar for most of his teens. His love for psytrance began in 2012
when he first heard Infected Mushroom perform at Ramfest after Swedish band, In
Flames. This new passion was fed by attending numerous psytrance festivals and
listening to the genre non-stop.
In 2017 he started DJing at house parties focusing on Psychedelic Fullon. Soon after
this idea went public and Synergetic was born in Pretoria. This event prides itself in
showcasing a number of the local powerhouse DJs.
After moving to Cape Town in 2018, Solus decided to broaden his horizon and started
to produce the music he loves so much himself, mainly focusing on Psychedelic from
145 – 148 BPM.
In Cape Town he has played at numerous Psygasm events. He has also played at other
events namely: Earthdance 2018 (Johannesburg), Mandala Madness (Johannesburg).
Solus is committed to captivating the listener with a high-energy journey taking
inspiration from artists such as Ajja, Imaginarium, Virtual Light, Chris Rich, Jumpstreet
and many more.

Banging on pots and pans for cymbals and expensive tupperware for toms as a child might have angered my parents, but they did notice that I like music.

I loved to sing along and dance to Barney. You know how it goes.

Fast forward fifteen years, and I was banging my head to ACDC, Seether, Metallica and Queen.

After plinky plonking on a classical Yamaha guitar for three years, I finally managed to gain a Fender Squire. This signified a new era of parental teeth gnashing.

Fast forward another four years, I was singing my first original song on live TV on KykNet; not on my blaring fender but on the acoustic sweetness that pop music required and that which made the girls cheer.

In the same time I started Sovereign Grace Music School with my ex partner in business who shall not be named. I then played a few live gigs as a vocalist and rhythm guitar. Started a band, wrote a few singles that never got released. To my bitter realisation, the business was a sham and my partner up and disappeared.

If you have been following along with the subtext, you would notice that half-asring it would be the flavour of my teen life. Stick with me here.

High school ends and real life hits me in the face a few times. The music industry is picky and the pickings are slim. I lose interest. I stop playing. Stop singing. Yet, I start drumming. I had fun jamming with some Pretoria bands like JackValve while studying. Yet, nothing seemed to light my fuse. Not even the Slipknot/Gojira cover band I managed to land the vocal spot for. 

One fateful day, I meet this guy who plays me this laughable doof doof music with crunchy synthesisers on a tablet speaker. Instantly unimpressed, I told him that whatever this is, it is not for me. With a smirk he told me: "Come with us to Phenomena"

I say yes. On a cold June  morning we arrive. I check the vibe, its very hippy and also very techy. But then, as we approached the stage, something happened. I felt that magic. That subbass in my chest. as I got closer, the inimaginable charisma and limitless creativity of this music hit me like loadshedding. The more I listened, the more I understood. I was so wrong. This wasn't just for me; this was going to be the destiny I write. My fuse was lit. I started to dance, and smile for the first time in years. The kind of smile that comes from inside the dark part of the soul that has seen new light.

Fast forwarrd another four years. enter the present. My incessant hounding and networking of local DJ's and Producers had finally led me into a courses with Koass Kontrol, Battlefloor, Puppet Master, Key to Insanity and Psydewise. My hunger for production has only begun to feed. My journey of production has only begun to shape.

Now I am humbly hononered to be welcomed into the Conscious Records Family. They have given me to opportunity for the dancefloors to grace ME, not the other way around. The opportunity to inspire the minds of every trancer I encounter with my message. I aim to drop every drop as if it were my last. To extract every whistle of approval and sore feet of the hanging stompers. This music is meant to take to to new levels of inspiration. To change our raving reality. Hold on tight. Let's have the most fun.

A journey I started creating in 2019, and finished it, but I was not satisfied with the original, because I had come in contact with new knowledge on music production.

I decided to give this track a revisit. I am now much more satisfied with this updated final mix with it being more reflective of God's vision for us as photons of his great consciousness.

Some may call it source, others the universe, but in the end we all are arriving at the same idea. That the will of our life outside of ourselves is indeed ultimate power to the individual and has been the case in mine.

Priest bio:
The young producer spent his first few years of ‘trancing’ simply enjoying the music, embracing the lifestyle and studying the true essence of this phenomenal way of life. One could say that he had seen the proverbial light.

Early March of 2015 saw the ordination of the psytrance artist we now know as Priest; and even though the title has been my nickname for all of his adult life, this was the birth of someone completely new. The moniker itself is by no means religiously binding but at the same time is not merely a baseless gimmick that sounds cool. No; what you get when you encounter Priest is a young man, pure of heart, teaching without even preaching a word but using his own life as an example to spread his message: live as cleanly a life as you possibly can.

Singularity is the solo project of Andre Muller, one half of Kaos Krew Record's powerful duo, Cosmic Apocalypse, born and bred in the beautiful capital of psychedelic music in South Africa, Cape Town.

Having written music for more than 5 years now, he has truly come into his own, evolving the new Singularity project from the early production beginnings of his original DJ act Militant, back in 2010. Thus a new exciting sound has been created from his collective experience as head of one of SA's most exciting record labels, his many Dj and live sets as Militant over the last 6 years, and his experience writing with his original production partner as Cosmic Apocalypse and the many other top producers he has had the pleasure and opportunity to share knowledge with...
