In what feels like a lifetime ago, two ConBoiz operating under aliases Nate S.U and Elijah Something, released the high-octane thriller EP: ’Electrode’. 
  Now, a year on, part two of their creation finally sees the light of day. Meet ‘Late Night Rail’ – Three tracks that have been put through their paces in clubs, caves, campgrounds, castles and more, plus a very special remix from a man who needs no introduction – iO Mulen. 

Title track Late Night Rail, written one gloomy evening in a rented studio alongside Sydney’s Central Station railway yard, leads the charge with a rumbling low end groove to rival the midnight train to Crow’s Nest. 

A simple hi-hat keeps this bad boy in line while a whirlwind of glitching percussive hits, vocal cuts and bass stabs run rampant over ominous synths that build and build (and build) until they can build no more.

Next up comes Mint Minute, an ode to some of the finer gentlemen Nate and Elijah have had the pleasure of spending their time with.

Taking notes from the brutal low end of Late Night Rail but choosing an alternative approach in the synth department, Mint Minute may hereafter be dubbed a ‘carnival carousel hammer’. Step right up folks – each listen comes with a free stick of cotton candy.

The last of the originals from the ConBoiz, Greg’s Revenge offers a rare insight into the weird and wonderful mind of S.U and Something’s quirky companion, Gregbert, that’s all we can say about Greggy boy.

A collection of sounds composed solely to lift your spirit – this feel good number will have you floating in a sea of synths and happy to be there. Strap on your Sunday best as Greg’s bass line takes you for a walk among the clouds.

Rounding out the the release, we are proud to present a remix from one of our all time favourites, iO Mulen. 

iO holds on to the effervescent vibes of Greg’s Revenge by layering the original synths over an unmistakeable Mulen bass rhythm and tightly mixed drum groove – in the process adding another weapon to his ever-growing arsenal of productions.
