Hosted by Dick Buttwell from 1975 to 1982 Money Maze was a North American remake of the Japanese game show Labyrinth. During the show's 7 year run there were only 3 winners due to the extreme level of difficulty and immense size of the maze they were expected to traverse. Most experts believe that the majority of viewers tuned in just to shake their rumps to the theme song, feel free to do the same.

One by one, they become stone

This song is a powerful protest against the privatization and exploitation of water, shining a light on the injustices faced by communities denied access to this basic human right. The lyrics paint a vivid picture of life without clean water, while corporations profit from this essential resource. I want to give special credit to my dear friend and sister in music, @DJShAnkAri, whose ideas and research inspired this piece. I wrote the lyrics based on her vision, and I’m deeply grateful for the opportunity to bring them to life.

The song is raw, emotional, and unapologetic — a rallying cry against greed, corruption, and the systems that profit from human suffering. It demands that we recognize water’s true value and fight to protect it for generations to come.

*Note: ShAnkAri and I are sisters in music, though our tastes sometimes differ. We each had our own vision for how this song should sound, so I ended up creating two versions.
