I previously did No Labels, No Lines! in order to provide an outlet for musicians and DJ’s to play to an audience.

There were far too many good artists playing in their bedrooms and not enough nights willing to give them a platform.

The first event on 25th October 2008 was the Heckler &amp; Koch Campaign Benefit Gig at the Light House in Wolverhampton.

In 2009 I then moved No Labels, No Lines! to the Wagon &amp; Horses in Birmingham. I proceeded to run several nights with a combination of live bands upstairs and DJ’s and electronic artists outside in a marquee.

About For Fans of Bands

The aim of this site is to connect musicians and bands with other musicians and bands around the country/world with the purpose of making contact and orgainising tours and out of town shows. 

Each profile page has a photo gallery, a short bio, spaces for what sort of help you can offer other bands, and what you are looking for from them, and 3 spaces for uploadable tracks. All bands must have 3 tracks or their profile will not be made public. 

The important section is the influences section where you can fill in 10 bands you feel best represent your sound, influences and style. Remember don't just go with the generic big bands that are currently polluting the airwaves. Use real bands that inspire you and make you want to make music. The more obscure they are the more likely you are to find someone worth dealing with. Of course there's nothing wrong with using the radio friendly favourites but they may lead you into a world of constant, unwanted "compliments". 

When searching, simply type the city you are looking for and the name of a band you feel would be worth working with if you had the chance. If indeed there is a band in that city who lists the same band in their FFOB section then they will pop up in your search. Again use more popular band to find a lot of bands or if you are looking for something more specific then pick something less well known. 


Constant Waves formed late 2011. Their music can be loosely defined as 'Math-Dance', fusing elements of Post Rock, Jungle, DnB, Math Rock and Metal. For fans of Three Trapped Tigers, And So I Watch You From Afar, The Redneck Manifesto, Minus The Bear, Battles, Explosions In The Sky, Deftones etc.
