Pianiste dès son plus jeune âge, Mona Bone développe rapidement son amour de la musique et étend ses influences au funk et au disco. Elle découvre la house music dès son arrivée à Paris et écume les clubs avant de se lancer dans le djing. En plus de son immense passion pour les années 80 et les paillettes, elle fait ses débuts en tant que productrice de musique et sortira prochainement son premier single. Mona est membre du réjouissant collectif De La Groove qui se produit régulièrement dans les lieux emblématiques de la capitale.

La recherche du groove coûte que coûte, c’est la mission que s’est donnée Mona Bone sur la scène parisienne. Dénicheuse de pépites en tous genres, elle jette son dévolu sur la période disco et tous les trésors dont ce thème regorge. Bien sûr, vous trouverez logiquement de nombreuses influences house à travers sa musique car c’est une grande passionnée des plus belles voix de la soulful music. Energisants et forts en émotions, ses sets reflètent sa personnalité lumineuse !

IMMI BAKES - What are you listening to?

This set carries my roots and shows where I’m going. Shaped by African rhythms, jazz influences and spiritual elements, it drifts between softness and movement, grounded and free.

Playing a more experimental set was refreshing, as it let me explore new sides of my sound and finally do something I’ve wanted to do for a long time. It’s my personal journey – a way of finding hope in becoming whole. Maybe it finds someone out there who needs that, too.

IMMI BAKES - What are you listening to?

IMMI BAKES, a German-Nigerian DJ based in Stuttgart, southern Germany, has been shaping her own musical path for the past three years. Though still early in her journey, she has already brought her distinctive style to the decks in Paris, most notably at the legendary soulful club DJOON. With a wide range of musical influences from Soul and Disco to Jazz, Hip-Hop, Afrobeat, Highlife and Drum & Bass, she has found her true passion in House Music.

A passionate digger with a keen ear for grooves, IMMI is always searching for the new within the old, creating a unique listening experience. Her musical style blends soulful, groovy vibes with a generous dose of Funk and Afro rhythms. Inspired by the golden ’90s and subgenres such as Classic, Soulful & Deep House, Garage, as well as Electro Samba, Afro & Latin, she delivers a sound that promises an uplifting musical journey. The result is pure food for the soul and heart – “always baked with love,” as she likes to say.
