‘Dear Life’ is the next chapter for Claptone and the second glimpse of his first full-length set for release in Autumn 2015. The mysterious enigma with the golden mask has gone from strength to strength of late, following an acclaimed BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix, a Beatport chart-topping smash remix of Gregory Porter and an incredible live show at the Miami Ultra Music Festival.
 
The single breaks new ground for Claptone as he delves deeper into songwriting. This time he is reunited with French singer Jaw (1/3 of production trio dOP) with whom he previously worked on ’No Eyes’, a big record for him back in 2013 on the notorious Berlin House label Exploited. In the new offering ‘Dear Life’ Claptone has created a spellbinding dance floor ready anthem that’ll sound just as good on your home stereo.

The masked figure recently shared teaser 'The Music Got Me', the first taste of the album and a track which went on to reach the top 5 on Beatport’s deep house chart, as did B-side Forest of Love. For the club heads, Claptone and Jaw deliver a second cut ‘Secret Lover’, a track packed with raw funk and a highlight of his recent Essential Mix.

In his debut EP on the label, Joal delivers three equally solid original tracks, brimming with raw energy. 
The dynamic second track on this release is ‘I Need To Go’, with its intricate groove running beneath swirling chords and an understated vocal hook. The soundscape cleverly builds and grows, with layers of pads and a striking lead, guiding us into a final crescendo that will see all hands firmly in the air.

We're now on GD's exclusive premiere of  the title track of 'Subsequence' by Joal, an upcoming release on the multi-faceted label Constant Circles. This hard hitting, tech house track is built on an atmosphere of raw, industrial soundscapes and plunging drops. The end result is a dark but grungy sound hard enough to penetrate walls and deliver some massive dancefloor vibrations.

Today we have the exclusive premiere for Joal's debut release on Just Her's brilliant "Constant Circles" imprint with the David Durango Remix

We move in Constant Circles. Music, Art, Fashion, Life. The most perfect shape in existence, a mathematical certainty, with no beginning and no end. This is our journey. This is our sound.

With his own live show, plus releases on Knee Deep in Sound and Selador under his belt, the third offering from fast rising imprint Constant Circles welcomes tech house heavyweight Joal to the roster. In his debut EP on the label, Joal delivers three equally solid original tracks, brimming with raw energy. Add to this a stellar remix from Poker Flat and Soulfooled player David Durango, plus an original piece of art from Martin Vidal, and you have a release that will turn heads and ignite dance floors across the world.

Opening track ‘The Subsequence’ is a stunning cut of organic house, with a driving groove and weighty chords. Managing to be both deep and powerful, Joal demonstrates his production craftsmanship with a track that will work in a wide range of sets, blurring the lines between deep and tech house.

Equally as dynamic is ‘I Need To Go’, with its intricate groove running beneath swirling chords and an understated vocal hook. The soundscape cleverly builds and grows, with layers of pads and a striking lead, guiding us into a final crescendo that will see all hands firmly in the air.

Completing the selection of originals is ‘Mailbox’, in which Joal teams up with vocalist Lavinia Claws to deliver a slice of deep groovy house, with heavy bass tones, beautifully complex synth sounds and a unique spoken vocal. Leave a message at the tone…

On remix duty is Soulfooled staple David Durango, who has skillfully deconstructed ‘Mailbox’, stripping it down to the key elements and adding his trademark groove to supply a first class dance floor bomb.

And so continues the story of a label built on the foundations of an unquenchable thirst for the underground and a yearning for the sounds of the future, the past and all that emerges in between. Unceasing. Limitless. A constant circle.

Today heralds a new era in the Julio Bashmore chronicles, with a sound that shall echo through the ages…

Mark Fanciulli returns to Saved following 2012's "Sacrifice" with a 2 track EP.

On the A side is "Presets", a track where the organ locks the groove from the very top.
As the piece progresses and the bass line comes in, the organ then develops into a longer pattern and the pads' pitch bends with a cool, trippy feel. On the break, a bright synth opens up
with processed vocals layered across it which builds atmospherically until the track drops back in.

Over on the flip is "Game Plan" which is built upon a solid percussion and a deep, rumbling bass line that evolves throughout, pulling the listener in closer. The track builds further with a fresh synth that works perfectly alongside the tight-looped vocals until the drums smash back in.
