The Wercs pronounced THE WORKS stands for We Embody Real Creative Soul. The Wercs are from San Diego, California and consist of Jay Ricks and JoeJune. Our music is a blend of the golden era of hip hop with our touch on the current wave of music'. We have so many influences but when it comes to groups we pay homage in our music to greats like The Fugees, Tribe Called Quest,Digable Planets, The Dogg Pound, Wu Tang Clan, Blackstar, Gangstarr, Camp Lo and The Beatles to name a few..
