Hailing from the north of England, Miles Murgett aka Rowka approaches techno with a refreshingly distinctive language. 
His dancefloor-ready productions are tense, deeply textured, and relentlessly unforgiving - a theme that carries through into his DJ sets - a sonically impressive bath of distortion, industrial sound-design, and off-kilter broken-beats.

Releasing his highly anticipated Scansion EP in April this year on the Unknown Movements imprint, accompanied by a string of singles on various compilations, 2020 alone has seen Rowka get the nod by the likes of The Lady Machine, Sophia Saze, Giant Swan, Lag, Willy Parker, GonzaloMD, and Tommy Four Seven.

With a positive buzz circulating his latest EP, Rowka has also been applauded for his releases on JoeFarr’s label User Experience (UX), Gobsmacked, Upperberry, Taro Records, and Helrad Limited; not to mention his contributions to established mix series’ such as Hypnotic Groove, Dark Underground Podcast, MDNGHT, and Loose Lips.
