Facundo Rondinella - Vulnus (Lautaro Xavier Remix)

This was a release under my older Jake moniker, the flipside of my first release on my own label Blueface and was catalogue no BFACE001. It starts with a vocal sample "reposess" which is a fragment of a story of cyberpunk nature around futuristic body snatchers which is joined by a chunky kick and hat combo and dark sampled bassline. Then more layers of lighter and zingy chords are added to develop the journey meaning the track combines darkness and lightness. The breakdown uses the vocal with a long feedback delay to create a space for a dance crowd to whoop before the kick hat combo comes slashing back in.
