<b>Biography</b>

The idea behind Metaphra, like the namesake, is to create a completely new and original sound; unrestricted by genre or musical structure, exercising the freedom to experiment with any sound imaginable using a blend of electronic, live instruments and cutting edge sound design.

Marie’s powerful vocals effortlessly cut through the lush soundscapes and she is able to transform her incredible voice to glide seamlessly over the groove no matter how gentle or aggressive. The lyrical themes range from political and social commentary to the fantastical and magical.

Defazed creates a backdrop of heavy bass-driven grooves, lazer-precision percussion, beautiful abstract melodies and futuristic sound design.

For inspiration they draw upon Trip-Hop, Electronica, Drum and Bass and Dubstep.
The influence of the rugged Atlantic coast of Cornwall, where they are based, is also evident throughout their music.

Meet S One troubadour of Shallow City—a city of soaring spires, flickering holo-ads, and alleys choked with neon haze. Cloaked in shifting iridescence, their visage is forever hidden behind a sculpted helm: half-ancient glyph, half-cutting-edge alloy. S One’s every performance is whispered to broadcast across the stars, a siren call to those who refuse the tightening grip of the Dominion’s iron law.

Yet the full saga remains veiled. Some say S One’s melody can crack planetary shields; others swear the mask itself is alive, recording the galaxy’s heartbeat. Allies speak of a coming crescendo—a unifying anthem that will bind every rebel cell into one unstoppable chorus. But the final refrain? That part of the score is still unwritten.

For now, S One treads the razor’s edge between myth and flesh, a symbol of resistance in a galaxy aflame. Their art is less performance, more uprising—a living lore, forever evolving, inviting you to learn each note as the story itself unfolds.
