Oooooo I’ve been dying to record this, and I’m so glad I did! This is an English version of the opening theme song to the new TV anime, DragonBall Daima. The song is called “Jaka Jaan” and the original Japanese version of this song is composed by none other then the legendary Zedd! I’m so happy I got to record this as a tribute to the passing of Akira Toriyama earlier this year, RIP to such an inspiring figure in the anime/manga community, and every the pop culture community too 🙏🏼 These English lyrics are ripped straight from Christian ‘O Neal’s (ChemicalYouth on SoundCloud) English version of the song, and the instrumental is composed by Arnold02. ContakZ the NerdCore/Otaku/Hip-Hop artist is a rapper hailing out of Rocky Mount, North Carolina but more notably Killeen, Texas where he worked on multiple songs with Primero. He prides himself on references to his child hood likes such as dragon ball z, pokemon, and various video games. Usually a generic style morphed from multiple rappers he has begun to create his own style and find his groove. No one ever truly knows what kind of song or what kind of style he's going to bring next. Recently he has joined forces with the artists Gmakin, Tony Choppa, Timi O, and E-Mote O to create "Kawaii Gang" the up and coming otaku rappers. He recently has referred to himself as the anime/otaku/nerd rap prince and hopes to be upgraded to God status.
