After a lot of great collaborations and fantastic releases on my own imprint AGILE Recordings, I am happy to present you a series of Various Artists Compilations named AGILITY. Each compilation will include a selection of very special tracks from an extraordinary roster of artists. Each track has been carefully tested on the dancefloor, and only the ones that have received a great reaction from the crowd have been chosen to be part of this very special package. This package is quite varied with all mixes reaching new ground with sounds and appeal. In this release we will see some of the finest producers such us: Raffaele Rizzi, Loco and Jam, Ant Brooks, Pascal Nuzzo , Max D-loved and Nino Bua. At the end of the day, good music is good music regardless the genre. What truly makes this release to stand out is not only the lush sounds but the acute versatility and the diversity with all tracks which some of them will get a constant play.Brilliant stuff from Agile.

The legendary Tony Rohr graces Phobiq with his presence and offers two tracks alongside his new partner-in-crime Layton Giordani. 
 The EP starts out with the sparse arrangement of &#8220;Careless Suggestions&#8221;, driven by a locomotive bassline and grinding rhythm section. Moody stabs reinforce the bleak vibe, and the vocals coming at us from otherworldly black holes only add to the mood. Label boss Sasha Carassi steps up for the remix in his trademarked stomping style, making use of hypnotic elements and the busy claps from the original. Industrial-sounding hi-hat action drives his interpretation all the way home, after an apocalyptic breakdown, of course. 
 On &#8220;Reggae Shiz&#8221; things are more stripped-down with bare drums holding everything together, as the rest of the arsenal slowly builds around menacing chords and a rocksteady groove. Behind the spotlight, liquid bass comes together with quirky percussion to complete this almost-10-minute-long opus. Dema maintains a sublime, shadowy mood in his version but opts for busier hats and heavier usage of chords.

After a string of successful releases on labels such as Rejected, Leena and Cecille, we are extremely excited to announce the return of Ross Evans to Saved.  Three years on from 2011’s These Sounds, Ross’ latest offering showcases his ability to adapt, and to continue making solid, upfront house music. 

The first of the two-tracker, Let It Go, kicks off proceedings by fusing soulful vocals with an infectious bassline, culminating in a blistering workout for the dance-floor.  This is balanced perfectly by the more peak-time This Is Carcosa over on the B side, which really showcases Ross’ effortless talent.  This Is Carcosa binds eerie vocals with a solid, jacking groove to round off what may be a package of Ross Evan’s best work to date.

The second instalment of Eric Sneo&#8217;s Re-Transmit series has landed and Boris gets his hands on &#8220;Slave To The Beat&#8221;, where he mangles the trademarked vocal even more. Cavernous effects bring us up to date, the shuffling rhythm section grinds away and some of the industrial overtones of the past are kept alive. On the 2014 edit, we get the vocals in full force, while much of the menace of the original is kept intact as the sub-bass gallops under the hats and rides. 
 Sasha Carassi&#8217;s version of &#8220;Dance La Famila&#8221; steamrolls through the night with its tough groove and mechanized percussion, letting dark stabs and a bubbling bassline all come together for a streamlined, nocturnal journey.

The boys are back on Phobiq and introduce us to yet another page of their production story. &#8220;Crank&#8221; kicks things off with a bubbling bassline, before letting plucky stabs take control while loopy samples provide the necessary momentum. The apocalyptic, arpeggiated breakdown acts like the extra icing on the cake. &#8220;Optimus&#8221; is up next and holds the cavernous vibe down with heavy use of droned-out synths, grinding hats and eclectic sonic manipulation.

Luigi Madonna has served as a standout talent in the electronic music space for over two decades, armed with an impeccable stream of records that have ushered him into the upper-echelon of dance music.  Serving as a house music visionary for many years, Luigi Madonna’s palette saw a definitive shift into the world of stripped-back techno, bringing with it a host of experimental sensibilities that marked huge maturation in his sound.
