Alex Nemmy first made his mark on the local scene in Reading over 2 years ago. He built up his reputation when he started a very successful underground hip-hop night called Junction Music. Every month, hand-picked talent from the local area would perform under Nemmy's watchful eye. Nemmy has been stirring up the music scene recently as he is inspired purely by his genuine love for music and natural creativity. Not only does he make music but he has shown interest in the music business and hopes to link this to his creativeness to inspire something unique and profound. Frankly, Nemmy wants to work for himself and inspire others in the process.

He is enthusiastic about being able to control his own destiny and possesses a desire to constantly succeed. He has gained experience from a variety of live performances. With a long list of appearances at BBC Introducing Berkshire, as well as the Reading Fringe Festival. Nemmy is also grateful to be nominated for the Reading Cultural Award; the Culture Ambassador Award, due to his work with Junction Music, which saw a total of 40 musicians from Berkshire and London performing live at the Purple Turtle. He first cut his teeth as a DJ in his hometown, Manchester.
