It's 4:00AM on June 3rd, 1997, I awake to The M.G.M. vibrating through the walls of my bedroom. I reach for my MP3 player with a digital voice recorder function, press it tightly to the wall and hit record.

Today my relationship with music and sound continues to be stronger than ever. I always prefer to challenge myself with alternative genre, diving into even what appears to be unlistenable at first and leaving single songs on repeat for days on end. I am obsessed with the effects of music in spaces and how it has the power to be situational. This is an hour of music that I enjoy while I work and I hope you will too. — Moutsi

Oscar [Oscar Der Winzige] originally from Madrid and for the last decade has been a prominent figure in Berlin's underground music scene.
He adopts a unique technique that he calls "Radio show". An exhibition of curious pieces; demos, home recordings and subcultural music from all nations. He works closely with long time collaborator Matas Labasauskas on various interdisciplinary projects which include their DJ partnership 'Octatanz', the annual festival 'Braille Satellite', internet radio station 'Radijo Musikii', 'Sucked Orange Gallery' and record label 'Big Band Alone'. Oscar is a resident of parks, small bars, and private parties.

Mattias Lodding (@lodding) is doing our last metamorphosis this year. His gloomy shimmering mix delivers a heartwarming energy full of beatuiful Nordric gems.

Since the mid 00s, Mattias Lodding has been trying to save his hometown from dull music. He is bound to fail, but at least he keeps stumbling upon magical recordings.

For Metamorphosen he put together an hour of Nordic melancholy, spookiness, and curiosities. The mix was recorded with a late-night walk along Ringvägen, Stockholm, in mind, but it should suit a stroll pretty much anywhere.
