Athens based Marine Tordjemann alias OKO DJ is Preceded by a well-earned reputation as one of the most forward thinking and genre expanding selectors in the game. Her sets weave the weird and the wonderful into dance experiences that hit every extreme. Tender, disturbing, refreshingly unpredictable - she isn’t an artist to miss.

Tordjemann has been a core element of Judaah’s label Brothers From Different Mothers for a decade, besides being also the founder of LYL Radio’s Paris department, where she has been hosting her show Pu$$y Nightmare since then.

Pu$$y Nightmare has evolved into a unique party series shining a light on FLINTAQ* artists, and focusing on bringing more consciousness and spirituality to the underground music scene. 

The key element of PU$$Y NIGHTMARE events is a Sacred Circle guided by OKO DJ herself as an opening ritual to any party. It’s a grounding practice that focuses on the mind-body-soul connection and celebrates what makes us unique: our inner beauty, our vulnerability, our magic.

As a producer, artist and energetic work facilitator, Tordjemann is a master at channeling surrounding energies and forces in her art with unrestrained panache and authenticity. She is greatly inspired by the power of nature and the Divine Feminine - that’s how she crafted an acclaimed first mini-album between experimental and spoken-word about the teachings of the Cycle, featuring « one of the coolest downtime tracks of the year » (RA).

Forward / Scratch is excited to present Threat Advisory, a new residency on 8Ball radio. Threat Advisory aims to share the sounds and histories of the fight for liberation of oppressed peoples. 

This episode premiered live on Feb. 3 from 9pm - 11pm featuring Rasanbleman Pou Ayiti, a diasporic Haitian group “dedicated to strengthening Ayiti, In the fight against exploitation, racism, imperialism and patriarchy.”

Linda Smith is an American singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and home recording artist who began self-releasing cassette albums in the late 1980s. Beginning in the 1990s, some of her recordings were released in vinyl and CD form on indie labels such as Slumberland Records and Harriet Records.[1] In 2021, the Captured Trackslabel reissued a selection of her recordings on an album called Till Another Time: 1988–1996. Paste Magazine described the release as a "hidden treasure of America’s pop underground."

In the 1980s, prior to her solo career, Smith was in a New York City band called the Woods. In the 1990s, she was a member of the Silly Pillows, appearing as a vocalist on one album with the band. Other bands that included Smith were the Window Shoppers and Yours Truly.
