Stable Verse and Unstable Chorus using Rhyme Schemes and Rhyme Types

Verse:

Raindrops are falling outside the window.
The soup in my bowl is perfectly warm.
The wind is blowing in a crescendo.
I don't need a blanket; I'm in your arms.
Tonight is the best night to fall asleep
just for a few hours-- the perfect retreat.

Chorus:

I don't wanna go to my class in the morning
The rain is still pouring and it won't stop
Eight hours of sleep is just not enough
To feel your breath on my skin.
I wanna stay.

window - crescendo (perfect rhyme)
warm - arms (additive)
asleep - retreat [family (both unvoiced plosives)]

Chorus:

morning - skin [family (both nasals) / subtractive]
stop - enough (assonance)
