In late 2020, after Kolja had to stop working as an event manager he started producing his first own tracks under the alias DJ HYGGE. His first involvement in the world of electronic music began at an young age with working at small festivals to organizing parties in his home town Luneburg. After a long journey trough electronic music he has now found his very own style of Techno. With a various mix of straight forward Techno, Trance melodies & heavy Breaks he brings nonstop energy on the dancefloor.

Dublin favourite Jordan Kinlan aka DART returns to our Four Four premiere's with his latest track 'Tree Frog', which featured on Hammers label Remmah.

DART's six track EP on the Irish imprint showcases club ready tracks cloaked in lighter melodic tones and textures. Tree Frog is a rolling euphoric club banger that features an epic breakdown that perfectly descends back into a rolling groove, making this a huge club tool.

The six track EP has been picking up some steam ahead of its release on the 17th of September. Having received support from label head Hammer, who played it to a huge crowd at the 02 Academy Brixton before fellow Irish duo Bicep. We expect this release to be a big one within the clubs reopening and look forward to hearing it on a big sound system very soon.

Next up on the Irish DnB circuit is a release from local badman Colm Brophy aka B-Origin.  Today we premiere his track 'Rebuild' from his formidable EP 'Absentis' out on April 22nd on Ireland's very own inHabit Recordings.

Brophy has been knocking around the DnB scene for some time now, turning heads with an encyclopedic knowledge of the music and a real DJ's ear for a subtle rhythmic element which has clearly cut through to his production style. His ever-growing catalogue of releases are all testaments to the power of reduction, weight, and subtlety which are qualities shown throughout his productions.

Today we premiere “Rebuild” which finishes off the EP in more ways than one. A revolving sequence of gnarly bass tones each one more gruesome than the last cut over piledriving subby stepper's groove. The entire EP is full of weapons-grade dancefloor ammunition. What more could you people possibly want?

Next up on our selecta series we have Jayne Veronica 💎

The Irish female selector has a flair for furious fist-pumping techno. Her sets are super-charged with acid and trance, some heavy solid techno beats which shaped her sound. She is heavily influenced by Charlotte de Witte, Richie Hawton and Vladimir Dubyshkin to name a few 🌎 

Her tune selection won't go anything lower than 135bpm, leaving dancefloors in ruins with her fierce selects. This young artist is looking to leave a dent on the techno club culture through her slick mixing 🔨

She also hopes to release her first EP within the next year, whilst working with one of the best producers in Ireland, Mark Greene. Expect raucous raw and untamed techno from this rising DJ in the year 2021 as big things are set to take place 🔮

Hoping to start this year off with an event with Upper Echelon Events X Contrast events on Liverpool ground in June, expect nothing but hard hitting, acid techno from her 💣
