It was such an old work though I had been pretty unsatisfied with my mixing job anyways so I figured I'd do an updated cleaner mix for Open Taiko!

This isn't a remix or anything it's the exact same song, I just redid the mixing to try and give it more clarity and had to change some instruments based on if I still had access to the plugins used in it at the time.

Actually that was originally gonna be part of the art cover for the "full" version of my EP Starlight Speedway (I intended to make it a full album instead of just an EP) but things came and that never happened...

Also unfortunately since the game mix of the song is on it's own file separate from the original (my old computer at the time struggled when project files got too big) I don't have a version of the extended version of the song updated. I don't know, some of the composing on it I'm still not a big fan of it feels kinda aimless at times, maybe I'll do a VIP or something sometime

as a way to celebrate me hitting 100+ on my channel, i'd figured it would be best to surprise everyone with these two remixes i worked on as a little thank you! may not seem like much, but from the bottom of my heart it means everything to me! 💛

had this one in the works since september of last year, i figured now it would be the best time to finally get this thing out, especially after listening to their recent album too. wasn't expecting it turn out to be as ambitious as it did and have this much emotion poured into it, but i think the result speaks for itself here.

i also want to give partial credit for MALNEEZY for helping me adjust some of the mixing on this. its incredible how they managed to give me such a great hand at polishing this, cannot thank you enough dude! cheers!
