Martin Kinrus is a Producer, sound designer and DJ from Buenos Aires, Argentina. Backing up releases on Octopus Recordings, Set About, Phobos Records and several others, Martin now opens his account with Victor Ruiz’s burgeoning VOLTA imprint, delivering an impressive dose of energetic avant-garde techno prowess across four tracks that make up his ‘Cosmic Energy’ EP.

Leading with the title track, ‘Cosmic Energy’ is a pacy ethereal number with rippling bass tones and sweeping melodic textures from start to finish. Its hypnotic vocal hook and pulsating synths blend seamlessly into several atmospheric breaks and harrowing drops to carve out a gripping peak-time weapon. ‘Invincible’ comes next, bringing more interplanetary vibes from the outset. Another captivating exhibition of racy melodic-focused Techno crammed with gritty resonance and coarse electronic creativity, its tight drums and crisp percussive drive make the perfect match for its rich tapestry of musicality.

‘Do It Yourself’ is another dark and dreamy number from Kinrus, built around thick drum grooves, fizzing hat grooves and roughened harmonies. Blending punchy rhythms with endless layers of intricately woven synths and processed vox samples, it carries an uplifting vocal presence on top of its largely danceable core. ‘Simulation’ closes the release with a breathtaking statement piece, ushered in by a gripping cinematic intro before gliding through a sea of storytelling free-form electronic production - offering something a little different to showcase Martin’s artistic side.

Fragmentation mixes the core elements of psytrance with the raw power of hard techno. It's a track that echoes the vibes of "Reality" and "Excavation", but with a different approach. Expect aggressive, sharp synths and a relentless tempo that defines the piece. Here, white noise is not just a layer, it's a crucial part of the music, giving the track an edgy, agressive and unrefined feel. This is straightforward hard techno-psytrance, a great sound experience for those who appreciate the genre's raw energy.

Pepticides mixes the core elements of Peaktime Techno with the psychedelic elements of Psytrance. This track is my take on psytechno, distinct from the approach Zenon Records typically explores. With "Pepticide", I aim to carve out a niche within the genre by integrating the high energy and dynamic rhythms of techno with the psychedelic twists and immersive soundscapes characteristic of psytrance.

First issued in 1998 on Superstition Records, Oliver Lieb’s L.S.G. project distilled late-’90s Frankfurt techno/trance into sleek, tightly engineered club tools with arc and atmosphere. The Black Album: The Vinyl Mixes (Remastered) presents the unmixed, original vinyl versions—newly remastered by Lieb—to foreground the detail in his drum programming, weight in the low end and the aerodynamic synth work that made these tracks DJ staples. Across nine pieces you move from the brooding momentum of “The Train Of Thought 1.1” and the nimble pulse of “Go Fishing” to the sinewy churn of “Cellular,” the pressure-valve release of “The Blaxone” and “Rotation,” the taut tension of “88” and “Freakz,” and the endorphin lift of “Hellfire” and “Deep Blue.” L.S.G.’s reputation for trance without cliché has been noted for decades. Lieb’s own note on the remastering underlines the intent: fed “through the finest analogue gear… tweaked to make it sound up to date while the music still is timeless.”

Cookies Slayer is a French Psytechno live act and sound designer based in Montpellier. His music blends techno, psytrance, acid techno, dark progressive and experimental styles, often shaped by world music elements and unconventional structures. Through this psytechno project, he explores a personal trajectory within the underground electronic scene.

His tracks combine original sound design with processed samples, built around rhythmic shifts, textural changes and non-linear structures. 303 patterns, broken arrangements and contrast are key elements in his work. With a background in audio for film and games, he composes with precision, focusing on detail, structure and sound quality.

He performs primarily live, reconstructing his own tracks on stage. His sets move between dark peaktime techno, psytechno and psytrance, offering a personal and fully crafted performance.

Under the alias Select Username, he explores the faster and more abrasive side of his sound, producing crossbreed, drum & bass and hybrid bass music. The project focuses on raw intensity and high-BPM.

He also runs 303BPM, a label supporting experimental approaches to electronic dance music. It supports artists who prioritise sound design, work across genres, and build music that remains both unconventional and effective on the dancefloor.
