In his signature massive style, German producer and Subios label-boss TiM TASTE brings serious heaviness and unmistakeable dark groove to RNDM.'s title track "Future Frames". TiM maintains the same savage pulsing bassline while adding playful touches to the main synths, heavier stabs and blares, an extended breakdown for added tension, and his usual twisted transitional FX . A growling bendy FX sound stands out, sounding almost like a growling stomach as it aches to be fed with more techno goodies. TiM handles each drop and mix with expert precision, showing his seasoned skills as a producer and label master. Martin Kinrus is a Producer, sound designer and DJ from Buenos Aires, Argentina. Backing up releases on Octopus Recordings, Set About, Phobos Records and several others, Martin now opens his account with Victor Ruiz’s burgeoning VOLTA imprint, delivering an impressive dose of energetic avant-garde techno prowess across four tracks that make up his ‘Cosmic Energy’ EP.

Leading with the title track, ‘Cosmic Energy’ is a pacy ethereal number with rippling bass tones and sweeping melodic textures from start to finish. Its hypnotic vocal hook and pulsating synths blend seamlessly into several atmospheric breaks and harrowing drops to carve out a gripping peak-time weapon. ‘Invincible’ comes next, bringing more interplanetary vibes from the outset. Another captivating exhibition of racy melodic-focused Techno crammed with gritty resonance and coarse electronic creativity, its tight drums and crisp percussive drive make the perfect match for its rich tapestry of musicality.

‘Do It Yourself’ is another dark and dreamy number from Kinrus, built around thick drum grooves, fizzing hat grooves and roughened harmonies. Blending punchy rhythms with endless layers of intricately woven synths and processed vox samples, it carries an uplifting vocal presence on top of its largely danceable core. ‘Simulation’ closes the release with a breathtaking statement piece, ushered in by a gripping cinematic intro before gliding through a sea of storytelling free-form electronic production - offering something a little different to showcase Martin’s artistic side.

Before you lie a landscape marked by monumental topography, a cacophony of mesas, sheer cliffs, and ravines that tumble almost instantaneously into each other. A world aeons older than your own, the pervasive natural forces of the universe have sculpted it into a masterpiece of flora and stone. From the cliffsides cascade an endless ecosystem of epiphytic vines, grasping gracefully onto the knurled surface of the exposed sandstone. Far below, the rainwater that runs filtered through the mountainsides gathers in cerulean pools in the depths of the ravines, which glisten gently in the light of the few rays of sunlight that reach their surfaces. 

What new life might lurk hidden amidst these crevasses, striding upon the sandstone or soaring above it? Coiled around the portal, the VISION SERPENT now promises an elder knowledge, something long lost yet intrinsically tied to all that surrounds you, something that can be found only amidst the bounties of this lush and beautiful land.

YVC make their VISION SERPENT debut with PIECE OF MIND, a single that features a pair of remixes from 8Kicks & Krypta. The title track’s determined bassline rolls out beneath an assortment of glitched sonic fragments that flit about within its darkened atmosphere, with  8kick’s remix redefining the low-end motion and incorporating a mysterious melodic motif. This is followed by WHEN IT COMES, the single’s B-side from YVC which thrums with galvanic tonalities that emanate from its driving rhythmic core. Krypta’s remix closes the EP by rerouting these tonal currents, folding them back on themselves for an expertly warped take on the original track.

It’s no news that Victor Ruiz have been producing authentic music from day one. With a need to incorporate that sound more and more, VOLTA was created.

“I’ve always felt that my music was somewhat different and most times hard to place on a certain label. I saw many other artists feeling the same. There was a gap. That’s when I knew it was time for me to create VOLTA.”
Victor wants to create a new platform that not just releases music but also connects artists and human beings.

A percentage of the profits of the label goes to charities and causes chosen by all the artists that are involved.
