We are happy to present Beyond The Darkness by Stratusphere.

Stratusphere project was created in 2012 by Jacob Paskus, a sound producer from the USA. His music aims to raise the vibration of the listener through doorways and walls of sound, earthy tones, grounding beats, and deep bass. Striving to share emotion and healing energy through sound, Stratusphere takes the listener on a splendid journey deep beyond this three-dimensional world into the depths of the inner microcosmos.

Beyond The Darkness is the third album of the project. This work is a reflection on a human being going through the cyclic nature of life to spiritual transformation. The descent into the valley is followed by the ascent to the top, the sunset is followed by the sunrise, and thus, after numerous rebirths, ups and downs into the abyss, the soul finds its home and its peace.

The genres of the album are downtempo, ambient, psychill. The soft percussions and the beautiful panoramic soundscapes, the airy melodies form a complete masterly music story. The production of the album included both software and analog synthesizers, as well as live guitar samples. The album sound is clear and pure, it brings bring positive emotions and happy thoughts.

Valery Prokofiev is a multifaceted artist who has been creating music for over a decade. Born in 1976, he developed a passion for music from an early age, and began playing the piano and other instruments at a young age. Back in 2019 me and my wife were traveling through South East Asia (and eventually got ‘stuck’ in Australia because of the world famous pandemic but that’s another story) and I recorded a bamboo water tumbler (if that’s the correct word for it) in Pam Bok near Pai in Thailand. I always wanted to use the sound of the tumbler (and the small creek it was standing in) but couldn’t find the right spot for it. Now I finally found use for it in this little meditative sounding ambient song. The title is a (rough) translation of how the locals call this bamboo bridge ([Boon] Kho Ku Sui or Kho Ku So).

A meditation on distance and collapse, “Far” begins in quiet reflection and swells into a dense, dissonant expanse. It is an ambient piece that captures the tension between serenity and decay.

Cookies Slayer is a French Psytechno live act and sound designer based in Montpellier. His music blends techno, psytrance, acid techno, dark progressive and experimental styles, often shaped by world music elements and unconventional structures. Through this psytechno project, he explores a personal trajectory within the underground electronic scene.

His tracks combine original sound design with processed samples, built around rhythmic shifts, textural changes and non-linear structures. 303 patterns, broken arrangements and contrast are key elements in his work. With a background in audio for film and games, he composes with precision, focusing on detail, structure and sound quality.

He performs primarily live, reconstructing his own tracks on stage. His sets move between dark peaktime techno, psytechno and psytrance, offering a personal and fully crafted performance.

Under the alias Select Username, he explores the faster and more abrasive side of his sound, producing crossbreed, drum & bass and hybrid bass music. The project focuses on raw intensity and high-BPM.

He also runs 303BPM, a label supporting experimental approaches to electronic dance music. It supports artists who prioritise sound design, work across genres, and build music that remains both unconventional and effective on the dancefloor.
