M.E. Baird is a remarkable talent. Not only is he a skilled singer, songwriter, lyrical poet and musician, but he also creates artwork as unique and captivating as his music.  As a singer-songwriter and musician,  with a career spanning nearly three decades, he has written and recorded five critically acclaimed solo albums, and numerous other recordings with bands and musical monikers, including song placement and original soundtrack work in film and television.  As a visual artist, he has exhibited widely and has more recently expanded his art practice into short audio-visual projects combining his musical compositions with his visual art. 

M.E. Baird also has a background in fine arts and architecture. From 1997-2016 he held various academic and lecturing roles at several art schools and universities in Australia.  Although no longer an academic, M.E. Baird occasionally conducts workshops on creative thinking and process. 



Originally from Melbourne,  M.E. Baird has lived in many places since and has been based in Bundjalung Country - Northern New South Wales, Australia for the last decade.

We are an eclectic bunch of musos from T-Bar City, Queensland, Australia, with a broad musical palette, loving metal, punk, rock, funk, glam and rockabilly.
