This song languished on my hard drive for the last 2-3 albums. It took me until this one to figure out what I wanted to do with it. It's pretty different from the rest of the HardSpeed stuff, but I have a rule for myself with Hardspeed; "Don't be boring." That entails using all this retro-style equipment to not just do one genre (say, Synthwave,) but to do anything I can think of. So, here's a shmup-style song.

And now for something completely different. With the upcoming re-release of my first novel, I've been working on touching up some of the songs that accompanied it. This is one of many of them that I touched up while my co-author and I rewrote the book. I'll be releasing the book's album sometime in 2025, so stay tuned. 80's kid. Permanently brain damaged by the hours spent on PC games, Atari 2600, Sega Master System, Gameboy etc.

Now a "bedroom producer" (after working hours). Fan of chiptunes, synthwave, fakebit, 8bit-ish music. Probably because of the "bring us back our childhood" and other nostalgia shit. I also like metal and classical music.
