A native of  Charlotte N,C, Deswin unique sound could not be denied that one day he will make his mark within the music world. Singing by the age of 4, and inspired by his dad who own his own record label Deswin soon became a well-known vocalist throughout Charlotte and local areas. 
Deswin knew he had a passion for singing so he began to develop his craft by singing in various shows and also auditions for talent shows such as the renown and mogul P. Diddy’s Making the band and also television number one vocal talent show “the Voice”. With  His keen sense of musicianship  he began his quest to start writing and composing songs which lead to many other opportunities in his musical career. 
Deswin, took on the stage name Coolidge and began to brand himself within his area. Looking up to old school R&B and pop idols such as the late Michael Jackson,  Genuine, and Usher, Coolidge in hopes to modernized the old school R&B sound in today’s music. 
Deswin is currently working on a mixtape that will be out in the Summer of 2014 and also working on collaborating with other artistes in the Charlotte area. When asked about his music his reply was “I want my music to touch people emotionally and get them thinking want my fans to relate to me and take these journey with me”.
