I live in Newcastle in the UK I'm a producer and DJ named Smoove . Crossing all musical boarders in my own compositions and in my DJ sets by fusing Funk, Northern Soul, Hip Hop, Breakbeats, Disco and Jazz.
I DJ in the UK and Europe with tours promoting the late 2005 release of my debut album “Dead Men’s Shirts” on Acid Jazz Records.

2006 saw the creation of the succesfull my own label Wack Records including the first releases “Big Love” 

I released my second album ‘Gravy’ (Remixes & Rarities) on Acid Jazz Records in 2007 which featured the B-Boy smash athem “Im A Man”. 

In 2012 I released an album "First Class" on Jalapeno Records featuring various remix works followed by Recorded Delivery album in 2019.

Smoove and Turrell first collaborated in 2009 having released our first album “Antique soul” on Jalapeno Records and have released 7 studio albums including ‘Eccentric Audio, Crown Posada, Broken Toys, Mount Pleasant, Stratos Bleu & Red Ellen.

We don't have much to say as we prefer our music to speak for itself , here however is a slice of admiration we came across , enjoy ;)

Wherever you find this group you’re in for a treat believe me . 

Whether you call it a wall of sound or a tsunami of noise the semantics are irrelevant because this band will simply blow you away .
Frontman Jimmi Lambrini aka Damien Murray treats his singing like his heavy bag sessions each morning with real power, aggression and skill .
But it’s not just about the charismatic Mr Lambrini however there’s Janvier Pousson on Bass and Glen Whisker on Lead Guitars/Backing vocals too . But last and by no means least new member Steve Worsley on the block rockin' beats . All excellent gentlemen and musicians . In terms of fashion and influence these guys are definitely in bed with the MODS and Lambrini regards Weller as a God ,,, but don't take it lightly , it’s pulled off so very well and their music is definitely 100% original . No wonder they have such a massive following that can make the other bands restless . Book this band and you won’t be disappointed , unless you are a total halfwit !!
