Whilst they have called Berlin their home since 2010, our own halls in Canning Town do not feel complete without the presence of @s_ruston. A relationship that began long before we welcomed our first guest; S Ruston has been with us every step of our journey, and now they return to play at RE:SISTANCE 004.

The Bristolian’s natural jungle & drum and bass roots shine through in their music; a sensory overload fully-stocked with rapid, bassy selections and interlaced with old school UK rave. These riotous performances are seen most commonly in the German capital’s sex-positive party scene, with residencies at femme-forward Lecken and clubs Renate and Else, yet they frequently take time to revisit our home in East London, with each occasion cherished.

S.Ruston Sensory Overload mix at UNFOLD

The German/Mozambican soul Cecilia Tosh is a Berlin based artist and entrepreneur. She is Co-Founder and booker of the agency SEV Berlin and the open air space CURA Berlin. 

Sonically Cecilia is influenced and most inspired by Detroit Techno and Dub Techno. In her mixes she incorporates tribal elements, no matter what genre, in between and promises: to stay true to her own flavor and vibe.

For the occasion, we will be descending into the abyss of Transfo. Underneath the big power generators lies a huge cellar where hundreds of workers maintained these machines. They’ve been unused and undisclosed for many years and will now, for the first time, be exposed to the public.
