Radio Bern RaBe ist das nicht-kommerzielle Alternativradio der Schweizer Hauptstadt Bern.

RaBe sendet im Äther auf 95.6 MHz UKW, DAB+, auf zahlreichen Schweizer Kabelnetzen und im Internet.

RaBe wird gemacht von einem kleinen Team und 200 freiwilligen SendungsmacherInnen. Es gibt Sendungen in ca. 20 Sprachen - worunter das tägliche Nachrichten- und Hintergrundmagazin RaBe-Info, die Kultursendung subkutan, die interkulturelle SendungVox Mundi, die Kultsendungen "Der Morgen" und "Radio Locomotivo" sowie Dutzende von Musik-, Polit- und Gesellschaftssendungen.

"The Scorcher aka Ras Romano" is the former musical leader, Dj and Mc from the Reggae Sound "Zion Sounds International" ¨from Bern city, Switzerland. Addicted to Roots & Culture, specially on Studio One and the 70ties Sound, "The Scorcher" is playing thru all the Jamaican musical legacy from Ska, Rocksteady to Early Reggae, Roots Reggae to Digital Ragga up to the New Roots & some well selected Dancehall, always aware of the positive vibes in the tunes........Collecting serious vinyl that is hard to find, the collection is filled up with rarely heard and sought after tunes from all era's....many "Scorchers" in the treasurebox!!! Ras Romano is a Roots Reggae singer from Bern in Switzerland activ since 2006. Ras Romano & The Rockers where playing live show's from 2006 till 2011. Since 2016 Ras Romano started to put together a new band called The Golden Roots, refering to his newly build Soundsystem "Golden Roots Soundsystem". They are since then working on new material and played their first concerts around Bern.

Miss Shalane is an upcoming Reggae & Dancehall Selectress/DJane from Biel-Bienne, Switzerland.
