Resisting the temptation to add harmonizing vocals was futile, so here we are: 3 guitars and 2 voices, just by the 2 of us.&#13;

Dear friends and listeners, this is definitely not everyone's cup of tea, but after almost 1900 followers and over 15000 listens that I could never foresee when I first appeared here with https://soundcloud.com/copyc4t/speed-limit because of a Freesound Dare (a composition challenge on http://www.freesound.org ) history comes to a full circle.

One month ago I came up with an idea of collaborating with various SoundCloud artists and friends to create an album to raise money for "Doctors without borders".
I proposed to use the tracks of my “Color Your Life - Orange” song, to rearranged and build their song, maintaining harmony and melody.
Thus was born this album.
The full cash from the sales will be donated to Doctors Without Borders (http://www.msf.org)
Until some years ago they were operating only in “third world countries”.
But as you can see from their site, now they are present also in many countries of Europe and U.S.A. because the world poverty is increasing.

Please help us. I'm sure that is fair and important also for you, with reposting in SoundCloud, Facebook, Twitter etc.
I never asked you this before.
I seem to beg, but my conscience tells me that I have to do it.

So, what happens when people who never met or spoke before decide to do a music collab online? --- I guess you can call it a "sonic handshake".

This is the collab made by Seelensack and me. We had never met or communicated before. I picked Seelensack because I used one of his sounds from Freesound before in one of my music pieces. I liked that sound a lot and when I read his profile at Soundcloud, I thought he might be a good partner for a collab. And he was!

Strictly, we did not follow the Dare rules exactly. We did exchange short messages along with the wav files.

Like me, he happens to be a Depeche Mode fan; unlike me, he's able to produce a lot of original music :D

When I first started out making music it seemed that everything I attempted sounded like Depeche Mode and I tried my best to escape this by testing out other genres. Every now and then though its fun to bounce back and make something that is authentic to the sound they created. Knowing that our copyc4t (Paolo D'Emilio) got a craze for them as well, it was a natural choice to ask if he would be up for the task to make an original for a change. Not sure how he managed with it but he took the lyrics I wrote and tweaked them to create a really nice fit.
So here it is "Poisoned Words", a song about lost love and big regrets...hope ya feel it :).
Big thanks to Paolo for his great vocal recordings and a true pleasure finally making a track with him!!!

Composition inspired by numbers. Instruments are played following numerical sequences. Numbers are the notes series played, all divided by the same distance
Drum machine: continued fraction of the golden ratio (1,1,1,1,1,1,1....)
Bass: prime numbers (2,3,5,7 and 2,3,5,7,11,13)
rhythmic guitar: Fibonacci's sequence (1,1,2,3,5,8)
Violin: natural numbers (1,2,3,4,5,6,7)
