Shoutout to my friend Sebastian who's in the mix with two tracks: the intro and somewhere later with his project "Der Räuber und der Prinz". The narrative voice is another friend from Düsseldorf, who's here with two tracks as well: the last one as "Kreidler" and one in the middle as his solo project "Tolouse Low Trax".
Also thanks to George (Black Merlin) for showing me the crazy greek track and to Cesare (Boxes of Toys) for two beauties from Japan.

Safari III (Camp Cosmic 2013)

ndré Pahl (Berlin) is known for his Safari mixes—pitched down cinematic journeys through uncharted seas, forbidden deserts and distant galaxies.

His sound tends to oscillate between psychedelic trips, spaced out electronics and voodoo percussion, exploring the slowed-down heartbeat of danceable music.

He had a rendez-vous with Mexico City’s lunatic music scene while living there for some years, co-running the label “Nuevos Ricos” and starting to DJ in shady neighbourhood street parties and art happenings inside jammed subway stations.

Listening to André Pahl’s sets is like being compelled to push yourself inside a forest even though you know it'll be dangerous — head first, then the whole body, submerged deep into a strange jungle world, partly solid, partly made of shimmering liquids.

Back to our mix series with this wonderful offering from Marijana Croon.  Originally from Belgrade but now based in Cologne, Marijana is a molecular biologist as well as a vibrant member of her local scene. In normal times she can be found DJing in places like Salon des Amateurs and Acephale and hosting her radio show 'Deflections' on Retreat Radio. 

Her Phase Group mix fuses otherworldly sound designs with echoing percussion pieces and slow dark club music for the twilight hours, futuristic synthesised environments dripping with reverb and long echoes inducing trance states and transcendence. Thanks Marijana!

Let me invite you to a brand new travel with Coral Club! Throughout our program we will visit ancient monasteries, distant villages and untouched nature sites. We will sit by the fire near the ocean watching outlying stars, sleep lulled by crashing waves, fall under tropical rain, and while hiding from it in the ruins of the temple, we will listen to stories that ancient stones will tell us. We will visit the tribes living in harmony with nature and learn from them. We will return refreshed, harmonized and more calm. So grab your tent and sleeping bag, we're taking off just now!

Technically, it's a compilation from my older unreleased works. Some tracks I was planning to finalize and include in some LP, but I am writing too much new material and do not have enough time to work with old ones properly. But I still love these sounds, so I decided to combine it all together and fill with field recordings, to create immersive journey for you. Enjoy!

Fahimuddin Dagar, Bidur Mallik, Pt. Dilip Chandra Vedi. Il s'agit ici plus précisément d'une sélection de ces pièces les plus électroniques une approche tendant plus vers la musique contemporaine que purement traditionnel ou interprété. Je crois que c'est ce qui me touche le plus dans ses œuvres, les longues pièces ou la perdition et la rêverie prennent place au-dessus de tout, alimentée de bourdons, d'ajouts de textures électroniques, de silences et de parfois d'un « presque rien » hypnotisant. Ces œuvres existent à travers de nombreuses collaborations avec notamment Robert Miles, Terry Riley, Al Gromer Khan et surtout Werner Durand ou iels interprètent notamment «18 Microtonal Ragas: Solo 58 » de John Cage."
