https://soundcloud.com/marijanaanajiram grew up in Serbia, living in Belgrade most of the time, where she caught the nightlife bug. Nowadays she's in Cologne, a molecular biologist and works in research, trying to tackle down secrets of mitochondria, or the main factories of energy in our bodies. While working in the lab, she listens to lots of music, focused and entranced. She started collecting in 1989, but only plays in public since 2019. Aside she's also a photographer, hoarding cameras from the 80s or older, and mostly interested in capturing timeless moments. Whenever she wakes up, she needs 2 hours on her own. And she's a real proper coffee freak, bad one gets her all itchy and scratchy.

After a crazy intro, the mix takes off and swallows you up, before spitting you out. A deliciously dubby and intergalactic concoction, a fearlessly atmospheric blend, groovy, delay-laden, quirky, stargazing. Eyes wide shut.....

NOSE JOB 36 — MARIJANA CROON

Pako Vega is the mind behind Sounds Of Ogigia, the mysterious label and shows. 

Based in Edinburgh for 8 years now, he started his residency in Aquelarre, a night for curious minds, in Sneaky Pete’s. 

In this 2 hour mix he conveys the turmoil of a post-pandemic world that faces another human aberration while the tormented hold on to hope and poetry as the last resource of redemption.

The next episode of the residency comes from Baltimore-based musician PJ Dorsey, also known as Tarotplane on his solo project. 

Dorsey's path walks across a wide range of music influences that have made him built his very own sonic viewpoint. His albums blend everything we love about guitar sounds with electronic experimentation, sometimes with a more traditional psychedelic rock approach, in way of creating timeless and captivating musical excursions. 

The inspiration for his mix came from one of the last places he visited before covid hit in early 2020.

'Its a photo of the interior of the Glenstone Museum, outside of Washington DC. It looks like a piece from James Turrell but im not sure it actually is.
Looking at the sculpture, you can see the sky outside. Sort of a portal into another world. Looking at this photo now, its meaning for me is about coming out of the darkness of that Covid time represented into a time of hope. Im not sure we are completely out of the cave but hopefully heading in that direction. This mix is the sound of my melancholy. A bittersweet beauty. Sad, but optimistic. Much has been lost but i hope more will be gained.' - PJ Dorsey

Clyde Arcalis and Low Bat are together with Aki Gratte Ciel running the radio show named Yellow Light of Death on the Tbilissi based Mutant Radio. Clyde used to be the owner of a records store in Bordeaux named Oto Disques, while Low Bat, former booker of arkaoda Berlin, can be sometimes seen in tiny shorts and performing as front man of Jean-Luc.
