What happened from midnight at EVOL is impossible to describe with words. From his very first track, David seemed to flip a switch and people became primal and wild and completely free. And what unfolded over the next 90 minutes was something that none of us had ever experienced at a rave and something that may never happen again. Perhaps it is something that can only happen when 150 friends and friends of friends are together in a perfect environment where the energy is just right and everyone loses themselves in the music.
This was David Mears' first DJ set, having played live for the last five years. He curates something so distinctive and so perfect you can't quite believe what you're hearing.

Unsere Erde ist bevölkert von einer Vielzahl unterschiedlicher Ethnien. Die Gruppenzugehörigkeit entsteht durch eine gemeinsam getragene und gelebte Identität. Diese setzt sich aus geteilten Werten, Normen und spezifischen Eigenarten zusammen. Allgemein spricht man von einer Kultur oder einem Kulturkreis.
Jede dieser Kulturen ist im ihrem Dasein etwas ganz besonderes und höchst individuelles. Die kulturellen Unterschiede beginnen bei der Auswahl und Zubereitung von Speisen und Getränken und Enden bei den semantischen Feinheiten der Sprachen. 
Vor allem während eines längeren Auslandsaufenthaltes kommt unsereins mit Menschen, einer anderen kulturellen Prägung in Kontakt. In der Kommunikation mit diesen Zeitgenossen gewinnt man sowohl grundlegende Erkenntnisse über die Kultur des Gegenübers, als auch über die eigene. Durch den interkulturellen Austausch begreift man, wie verschieden die Nationalitäten dieser Welt sind. ADoch wie sehr sich im Kern alle gleichen. 
Häufig sind es die kleinen Dinge, an denen man die Gemeinsamkeiten erkennt. Egal aus welchem Land jemand stammt, kaum einer wird ein gutes Stück Käse schmähen. Im Restaurant schätzt man eine große Portion auf dem Teller und eine freundliche Bedienung. Woher er oder sie auch kommen mag, alle lieben die Sonne das Meer. Jeder hängt bei Langeweile vor dem Smartphone und aus der Kompetenz eine Landkarte zu lesen, wurde die Standortsuche über Google Maps. Die Menschen dieser Erde wünschen sich Anerkennung, Liebe und ein behagliches Zuhause.
Reisen öffnet den Geist und erweitert den Horizont. Durch eine solche Erfahrung wirft man entweder seine Weltanschauung über Bord oder die Ansichten und das Mindset werden gestärkt und gefestigt. Am Ende des Tages wird man mit seinen Vorurteilen konfrontiert und räumt mit seinen Klischees auf. Die Vielfalt der Kulturen ist ein Reichtum und Segen. Jeder kann seine Fähigkeiten und Stärken zum Kollektiv beisteuern, sei es nun Mut, Güte oder Humor. In der Summe tragen all diese Potenziale zur einer beseelten und schönen Welt bei.
Adam Husa macht uns mit der 139 ein musikalisches Geschenk der Extraklasse. Mit einem federleichten Aufbau fügt sich Melodie an Melodie. Es wird tief wie der Ozean und explosiv wie ein Gewitter, die Mischung macht es. Abgestimmt und abgeschmeckt, die Konsistenz ist pure Fülle. Hello dear angel,

Even though we participate in raising awareness during #blackouttuesday we have decided to continue shining light through music. The music we upload on our SoundCloud is for us a way to give a message. We love to continue the music as it connects so many hearts and minds.

If you find kindness anywhere it is here in our family. But in these weird times I ask myself and all of us to radiate love and kindness, understanding and empathy, forgiveness and so on.

Before you two sets recorded live during the most beautiful United We Stream at De Marktkantine in Amsterdam. Our home, our nest, our dance heaven and even though it was empty a part from the team, the musicians and the performers. It brought back all the memories of the good.

So let's keep the focus on the good and make sure everything else will get better. At least we know that this set by our Maga blew us away completely.

With a new weekend ahead of us. We can imagine how you are feeling and we are happy to contribute to your upcoming joy with some tunes created by our family. So enjoy, let go and dream away with us on this latest discovered gem by Aurelius Zon.     

Marco Aurelio Uson is a young producer based between Madrid, Spain and Bogotá Colombia. His music has been signed on labels like Traum Schallplatten and Iboga Records reaching the support from names like Acid Pauli, John Digweed, Nick Warren, Hernan Cattaneo, Max Cooper, among others. 

This Artist realized it is impossible to limit himself to create only one style of music; his love for dark hypnotic techno & ambient is as large as his profound drive towards the more melodic and tribal music. For his more dreamy sound he created a new alias "Aurelius Zon”, using his second name “Aurelio” combined with his last name “Uson”. 

Transcendental and storytelling vibes are felt when Aurelius Zon´s music is playing where dreamy emotional melodies, deep atmospheres, and ethnical influences converge into a very emotive soundscape with a characteristic depth in sound.    

He told us he has been a fan of The Gardens Of Babylon since a long time... The set he created for our Isolation Diaries is done under his new artist alias he uses for his more tribal melodic music: Aurelius Zon.

The New World - Aurelius Zon

Starting in 2009 as a HIp-Hop/Rap producer, his tracks started appearing in all of Armenia's main charts' tops during just a few years, followed by a number of albums and video clips that are still relevant up until now. In 2016, he, with his friends, founds Rambalkoshe, and a couple of years later, already plays his first big show with Powel. After this, ALMO has played on different stages in different countries, sharing the stages with Viken Arman, Sainte Vie, Ninze, Spaniol, Niki Sadeki, Goldcap, Serjo, Armen Miran, Kora, Milo Haefliger, Spaniol, Pandora, ADIA, Tummetott, Billy Caso, Moscoman's after, and many more talented artists. Alongside playing music, ALMO continues producing and also is a part of the Rambalkoshe crew, which organizes the DZEN, a festival, which has already grown out of Armenia with its unique format.
