Music has always been a main aspect in Bijan's life. Originating from jazz, hip-hop and funk roots, Bijan immersed himself into drums and percussion. Bijan has been playing drums for over 10 years leading to his desire to listen and learn different styles of music. Bijan prides himself on his diverse and welcoming attitude to all music styles and adapting it to the given crowd. 

His love for house music started several years ago listening to Kerri Chandler's 'House is House' record for the first time. Since then, Bijan has grown to love all facets of house music and most recently favouring deep house & techno vibes.

Black Vinyl Records is an independent underground dance music label that was originally launched as the 'trax' imprint of Hott Records in East London (UK) in 1996. The label became independent in 1997. Black Vinyl released ground breaking singles by the likes of Kerri Chandler, Miguel Migs, Karizma, DJ Spen, DJ Chus, Tedd Patterson, Paulo Rocha, Milton Jackson, Rasmus Faber, Groove Assassins and many many more. The back catalogue speaks for itself.   After taking a break in 2008 the label returned in 2011 with releases from DJ Ermi, Masahiro Suzuki, Trio and Mauritzio Baiocchi and came back again with releases from King DK and Shero in 2017. The years 2022 and 2023 saw the label taking things up a gear with a series of Remastered classics by Kerri Chandler and Fresh & Low along with three great remixes by David Harness on tracks from Sphereble, Tedd Patterson and Brent Laurence.
