Tens of Thousands brings the hype. Hailing from sunny Santa Barbara, this talented trio fills out their sound with catchy riffs, ripping guitars, and thunderous drums. With influence rooted in bands like Rage Against The Machine and Queens of the Stone Age, these rock millennials come with a huge sound and a talent to back it. Founded by music producer and owner of Hidden City Studios, Elliott Lanam (vocals, guitar) wrote, produced, recorded, mixed and mastered the debut EP, entitled Chromatic. Describing the band Lanam says, "I wanted to create something that was catchy, but could get people hyped when we perform it live. These songs shake the walls, so they definitely get the crowd bumping." He wasn't lying. This power-packed record blends genres of rock with trap music, hip hop, and pop - utilizing progressive techniques in their engineering and production to create a wall of sound that encompasses the listener. 

The release date for Chromatic is Friday, May 19th and will be available on all major music platforms for free as a digital download. They will be performing the EP in addition to unreleased music @ Velvet Jones in Santa Barbara, CA on Friday May, 19th. Fronted by singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Travis Ward, Hillfolk Noir is a trio of neo-traditionalists playing traditional music on traditional instruments for non-traditional times. They call it Junkerdash, and it’s a sound brewed from folk, bluegrass, punk, string-band blues and other influences musical and otherwise. Recommended pairings: Drinking and dancing.
