Defective - Time Stomp (Free Download)

The Core Sessions originated back in the early 2000's and took the UK hardcore scene by storm ! Dj Defective (Tim Bodiam) & Mc Skyz (Jamie Mack) was an unstoppable force known for their unique Core Sessions mix series. Thorough the years their style & sound developed. Defective started to experiment with the harder styles of 170 BPM music complemented with Mc Skyz where the duo hit their peak with the huge hard hitting Core Sessions 13 showcasing a new sound of Powerstomp combined some Defective's production & collaborations. 

After a 6 year break away Defective & Skyz have teamed back up to bring The Core Sessions back to life to bring you all our style & sound but on another level! 



Started DJing when I was 15(1998) and then landed my first residency(Mon Nights) at 16 in Liverpool's Baraka Bar. After that I played a afew bars around Bootle.

2023 I've decided to get back into DJing and work more on producing.


I have multiple tracks released on Bounceheavendigital,Klubbed Up, Manic Music ,DNZ, RGMusic Records and Shizzle.

The genres I cover are Bounce, Trance ,Hardcore and Hardstyle.

Been mixing since January 2018 after a 15 year gap, back then I was mixing hard trance and hard house, now im back with a new style of music and loving it. 

August 2020 update. 

I'm now signed to the label Stomp Inc so keep your eyes open for future releases from myself and the Freedownloads on my sound cloud page 

April 2021 update. 

Still going strong on my radio shows and just signed a life time contract with stomp Inc 😊 more music coming your way with a few free downloads included 

April 2022 update.

Started mix UK Bounce a few months ago so keep your eyes out for some bounce mixes also started producing UK bounce 

February 2025 Update 

I've stopped live streaming for the time being and been focusing on my production more, I'm still mixing and trying to get a mix out at least once a week.

I'm getting lots of positive feedback on my tracks and still releasing on Stomp-Inc UK as well as helping run the label now
