Sven Väth (born 26 October 1964, Obertshausen, Germany) is a Frankfurt based DJ/Producer in the electronic music scene since 1981; playing for over 32 years and counting. His single, “Electrica Salsa” under the alias OFF launched his career in 1986. Lovingly referred to as “Papa Sven” by his fans, Sven Väth has made his mark in the music community by being one of Germany’s “pop stars” in the nineties, running two famous night clubs in Germany, and starting his own company Cocoon, that encompasses a booking agency, record label, and a branch for events. He is recognized for cultivating the underground electronic music scene not just in Germany but in Ibiza as well, with his own night at Amnesia for fourteen years and after-parties at creative locations around the island. Sven Väth is a major proponent of vinyl, using only two decks and a mixer for his extensive DJ sets, the longest he has been known to go for is 30 hours.

"Tony Largo is one of the prime movers on the LA house scene. In the 90's his weekly mix show on vanguard dance oriented radio station MARS FM 103.1 was the soundtrack for a generation of ravers, shakers, and movers on their way to the map points to the best Undergrounds LA had to offer. Mr. Largos monthly residency Candelabra, his weekly residencies Tuesdays Blind Faith, Wednesdays Ana's Playhouse, Fridays Open House and of course Sunday afternoons @ Maxx was a blissful oasis of groove in an often turbulent time. Even if you haven’t heard of Largo this session is a valuable document of that lost epoch, before the scourge of gentrification, when garage, soulful, dub and deep still lived on the same block and we just called it house. You can catch Tony at your local L.A. undergrounds. Keep an eye out for his once a year Does Your Mama Know? Tony Largo the 'Enigma' LA's Best Kept Secret all these years..."

I remember dancing on the stage all night with my hands in the air, praising Mr Park and Mr Pickering for their work behind those decks.
