our story

Aisleigh O'Donovan aka Ashes has found herself at the center of Cork's underground
music scene, co organiser of the Kriptik collective who are renowned for their under the
radar parties. The cork native has already shared lineups with techno heavyweights Sunil
Sharpe and Jamie Behan at last years Kriptik Music and Arts Festival. She has made
regular appearances in Cork’s legendary Dali where she has supported Irish techno
legends Kerrie and Meadbh O’Connor. Recently she has performed further afield in
Waterford’s Electic Avenue and the Pawn Shop in Dublin, as well as an appearance with
Ireland’s longest running electronic music night Bastardo Electrico. Her passion for the
local techno scene has led her to curate weekly series in Dali called Techno Thursdays
which focuses on highlighting local talent that share the love for the genre. This passion
is also extended with her involvement with Kriptik’s new venture ‘Encrypted’ that runs
monthly events and label releases.

Ashes signature dark style blends experimental sounds with uncompromising techno
which creates a definitive atmosphere in her performances and mixes.
