Introducing Mellon, Maksim Khudiakov, a Russian producer now based is Belgrade whose work draws on Dub, Jazz and classic Hip Hop influences.  Mellon’s latest EP, Brutalism, sees these influences gathered and shaped by personal touches; atmospheric textures and dextrous rhythms sit across 4 tracks that balance playfulness and brutality. The release marks another potent step forward for Sudo Sound and Mellons impressive Discographies. 

Also included in this release is a collaboration between Mellon and Dub Head. Hailing from Kiev, Ukraine, Vitalii, known as Dub Head, is a founder of Cybernetic crew with releases on Transparent Audio, Sofa Sound, Sauce Recordings & Dispatch; he is devoted to creating a unique and captivating sound in the world of Drum and Bass and beyond. His link-up on Mellons latest project brings 'Allergy' to the release, another example of why Dub Head remains one of the front runners in the scene.

October 2025 marks exactly ten years since the first broadcast of Radio Punctum. It was an episode of the show Altershapes that aired live from a makeshift studio, shared as a Shoutcast streaming URL on forums as it seceded from the now-defunct Radio Streetculture to found its own station.

To celebrate this special occasion, we are releasing a massive compilation featuring music from our station's past and present residents, friends, and collaborators.

The curatorial aim was to capture the breadth of our musical programming.

Expect anything from ambient to goregrind, ambitious experimental pop to outsider songwriters, and meticulous digital soundscapes to electro and gabber bangers, as well as electronic post-punk stylings — all mastered with great care by Yukimura at Mustakillah Studio.

And so concludes the first ten years of this traveling circus.

Followers of Instigate will remember Rob's collaborative effort with Step-A-Side on the title track of the Hollow EP. He returns to the label with an EP packed entirely with his own productions showcasing a much more delicate, melodic side to the Extorted Minds sound. 'The Black Rose' is no exception to this, exuding ambience right from the start this atmospheric epic demonstrates the Guernsey based producers ability to construct intricate soundscapes. Keep an eye out for clips of the EP coming soon.
